It's the movie that i go to every 5 years, or so, since the 90's. It's a true classic among with Pulp Fiction. But it's kind of hard to digest that Tarantino does not mention Roger Avary at all, even though he wrote TrueRomance, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction with him. It's all water under the bridge now, but Avery was very local about how Tarantino stole the credits all the time. Ideas, conversations and credits. The only scene that dates it is Dick Ritchie auditioning for TJ Hooker which was a television show from 1982-1986 . So obviously it’s somewhere in that dateline which judging by what Quentin says here is pretty much when he wrote a good chunk of the movie. However the most prominent song 🎧 in the movie is Drexel at the nightclub which was I want your body by Nymphomania , a 1991 dance tune . There is also a 1992 Soundgarden rock song in the soundtrack. Yet the movie has to be 1982- 86 so that’s a flaw of the film . Its soundtrack is all over the shop .
If you really watched the movie you’d know that it’s the new TJ Hooker series Dick Richie was auditioning for not the original TJ hooker.

I am also a Hall of Fame couch potato.
Every leftist democrat in America under the age of 35 is a lazy, ignorant, clueless, couch potatoe. That's why America is on its last leg and is currently free-falling. It's almost gone and I can hardly wait for the day that you lazy sheep finally figure out that you lost all of your freedoms. By the end of 2025 you won't have a couch to even sit on.
America has fallen. Hallelujah!
