A tip to everyone who tries 3D printing such things like gun parts etc.. I would rather advise against PLA and PLA +, of course it works in a pinch, but there are far more stable and temperature-resistant filaments available which is used in mechanical engineering and can also be used with normal 3D printers. Use the normal PLA for practice and then use something like: "Nylon CF15 Carbon" - High strength - High thermal resistance - High chemical resistance - Impact resistant
PLA+ is the standard for low price, strength and printability above basic PLA, when you move up to nylon or carbon fiber filaments you need more than just a printer and time to calibrate your printer.
@@mbarricelliwv I don't think you need an extra new printer for this, but you might have to replace / upgrade the heating head and the nozzle and as you said - a new calibration too.
@@mbarricelliwv It always depends on which printer you work with or which one you bought. There are very well printers with which you can use different types of filament. But yes, you're right, an enclosure would certainly make sense - I assumed that most of them have probably already bought one, I mean who wants to constantly smell the stench or hear the annoying fan noise. So if you work without an enclosure, I advise you to use one too. Almost all types of filament are susceptible to moisture. But that doesn't mean that you have to buy a filament dryer right away. Arguably the easiest and most common way to dry your filament is to place it in the oven. Set the temperature just below the glass transition temperature of the plastic and let it sit in the oven for 4-6 hours to allow the moisture to escape. The longer you leave it in, the drier it gets. It got worse as for when I got finished I figured out I had taken it apart in a hotel lobby and now had a gun and a huge mess sitting on the floor. Since nobody had noticed somehow I hastily picked everything up and carried it into my room which was on the same floor as the lobby apparently. Upon trying to put it back together I found out that I had lost half of the screws and I woke up still freaking out. I was just making a funny about how there isn't that many parts kits available and they've jumped in price by alot.
@@BrandonHerrera y did I read that in a Russian accent
@@NC_Fisher_Guy same. I live about 20 minutes away and go to the same gun store Brandon does, or at least one of the ones he goes to. (He posted a pic at the gun store on his IG story once but blurred the name).
I think this is actually my favourite episode of Cursed Gun Images
It's funny how even after that disclaimer there are zero f*cking ads.
I'm starting to wonder if he even monetizes them or he's just ad banned
He got demonetized
@@username_loading_error why not both? 😂
Brandon:I don't want to get into politics.
Also Brandon: *wear's don't tread on me shirt*
Dont tread on me isnt political just like the come and take it flag
@@oceanbreeze1162
The flag and phrase has been around for nearly 250 years.
The TEA party just use it a whole bunch.
@@2AFREEDOMTX Both of those are political. "Come and take it" is aimed at politicians who are seen as gun grabbers. The Gadsden/don't tread on me was born a political flag because of its use during the Revolutionary War as a protest against British rule. Now, not only did the TEA party use it a lot, it was popular in the crowds at the Jan 6 insurrection riots in DC along with the VA Traitors' Battle Saltire.
I'm not from the USA but for what I have read it has been used so much by everyone that it doesn't even mean anything anymore
@Panzerjäger Nashorn first it was used unironically, then people used it ironically to make fun of those people, then they made don't step on snek but then THAT started getting used unironically as just a memier more casual version, it's a bit of a mess
Those revolvers are 16" rough rider from heritage manufacturing inc
Print. Shoot. Repeat. Is actually a really good RUclipsr who does 3d printed guns
“Before I move to texas” me yells out loud “HELL YA”
"...I tell you H'wat".
Brandon: "Quit asking about the Kalashnabren!"
Throwing a lot of shade towards all of us supporting your White Claw and gun meme habits 🙄

Patience. Doing dumb yet neat things with guns takes time. Would you rather a bubba'd piece of junk, or something half decent?
He earned my like when he said “limquor”
The way you said 3D printed hand guard was so funny I love it.
"Excentric window lickers" is my new favorite insult.
I just woke up from an alcohol fueled slumber in which I had a dream that I had a pistol case that I was taking apart. Yes, a pistol case. It encased the pistol like a phone case. Why? I don’t know. . I believe it was on a P227. In my dream I was questioning the point while trying to take it apart. The case was held together by 200 or so tiny screws in multiple random locations. My first instinct is to comment this on a Brandon Herrera video because when Elon musk takes me away for the vision I wasn’t supposed to see, the world must know and I felt this comment section would understand.
Same dream but obrez
@DomesticPenguin Yes, somehow, some way, somewhy, we do.
Can someone explain the significant of an obrez instead of the Sig?
Rule of thumb for 3D printing: skeletonize everything. The money you save will pay for your medical bills.
Ha! Ha! Ha! Is this sarcasm? Yep I think so. Awesome .... and a great WARNING!!
@@marlondeanbellot.7945 I don't think it's that much sarcasm. Really though, even if not for money, having everything be skeletonized can save SO MUCH time.
I might be stupid but what does skeletonized mean

Hope to see an episode on various "emergency guns" made over history. Some of them were dumb, some were quite good ideas(STEN).

"Time to make me hate myself."
I can't start hating myself if I already hate myself
I am immune
My favorite thing about that first SAA is that it looks like a heritage rough rider. Not only did he put all of that effort into an extremely cheap gun but his optic costs at least twice what the gun did
Even better is that they made the gun less useful and practical than it would be stock.
A guy I know made the Garfield 'rear' sight, and trust me when I say that's not the worst he's done.
Inform me or link his stuff, I'm intrigued
Are there anime girl ‘rear’ sights available?
@@FrostyShock349 well, the garfield one is 3d printed, so i'm sure you could make it real

The alcohol really must have helped
Best part of this episode was the blue label. Keep it classy Brandon, keep it classssse
I fricking died at the mere mention of the "Skeet Cannon". No words can describe the amount of enjoyable cringe I had with this video.
When you realize one day that Brandon will finish projects like the AK-50 and Plastikov

There is another
