I was in a really bad place in my life a few months ago. I was driving to go do something I really should not do lets say it was illegal. This song came on the radio when I turned it on I turned the car around and went home and ask jesus to save me that day. My life has never been better.

If our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, already completely finished and settled his ultimate work in trust on the Cross at Calvary and ascended to be eternally seated at the right-hand of our Father in heaven for our benefit as joint-heirs to His kingdom... then perhaps instead of "asking" or "demanding" or "requesting"... when we pray, we would be more appropriate in our prayers by "thanking" Jesus for "all" that He has completely done for our benefit... let's insert the words, "thank you" in your wonderful prayer... for example...
Thank you Lord for inspiring me to want to live like that;
Thank you Lord for granting me the courage, strength, and wisdom;
Thank you Lord for enabling your holy Spirit to resonate in me;
Thank you Lord for giving me the tools and words so that I can live like that;

It had been 22 years since my dad died. I felt like he figuratively took me with him, I died when he died, so there wasn't really much else to live for. Let's say I wasn't on the right road. I decided to change October 5 after my whole life seemed to fall apart. Then I found this song and it totally says everything I want to be. I love where he says "People pass, and even if they don't know my name, is there evidence that I'VE BEEN CHANGED, When they see me, do they see You?" Because I have! I've devoted my whole life now to my Savior. I will see my dad again, and we'll all be in the arms of our Lord.
this song describes my mom perfectly she had a heart for the unborn for the homeless for the hurting. the world lost a great woman on may 28th 2012

2Peter 1:3 Dear sister He has already given us "all that we need" to live like that. We must believe in who He is and that the God who created the trillions upon trillions of stars, galaxies, myriads of life forms etc. knows you by name. This God who is Omnipotent, omnispresent, omniscient, immutable, dwells within you. Jesus said if we have the faith of a mustard seed we can say to the mountain to be removed. This is a metaphor but yet an exhortation of the power that we possess if we only just trust and believe in Him. There isn't a power on earth that can thwart his plans nor can they harm a hair on your head if it is not His will. Go forth and proclaim His wonderful love, mercy & grace.

As we listen to this inspiring song let us not forget our brethren who are paying the ultimate price for "living like that". Even as of today several Christians in cities throughout North Korea were taken out and machine gunned down for having a bible in their possession. They know what it means to "live like that"!

For those of us who live with a passion in our hearts for Christ, this song speaks from our hearts.
I was flipping through radio stations this morning because I forgot my ipod. Came upon this song, looked it up, I've had goosebumps for the last 4 minutes. I'm a mess, I really think this song is for me right now.
My mom is sixty six years old and works herself to exhaustion. She is a foster parent to five children, adopted my two siblings and me, and also has four grown daughters who need her guidance. She goes through an entire tank of gas in two days because she drives my foster siblings around to appointments and runs errands almost every day. She is who I look up to for advice concerning anything personally emotional or spiritual. I am nineteen now and am going to College. How I will function without her will be something to find out. My mom gives her all everyday and that inspires me to one day be a foster parent.
Your moms life is a role model life. She shows she can do the right thing with or without anybody. And you look up to her. You too will live an inspirational life, with or without anybody. You are a strong individual and I wish you all the best in the college. God bless you.

I'm praying that its not only me that gets the conviction from the song, and that we truly let God into our lives not because of that conviction, but because of the love the pours out from God. His love is the most attractive thing I can think of, lets humble ourselves before God together. Praying for you all God bless.

Trevor, Don't be hard on yourself. I was 27 when my eyes were opened. The good Lord died for you and He offers you the most amazing gift. I say accept it and live for Him. Will you fail? Yes! But He paid the ultimate price so that you can live with peace knowing that what happens tomorrow, well, He's already there! Be blessed.

This song started playing in my head out of the blue after this morning... I was praying for a lady who's daughter was kidnapped 10 years ago, and presumably sold into sex trafficking which is common here in Mindanao. I came here to tell people about Jesus and this song has been a theme of my life I guess for a long time now after hearing it on K-Love... and suddenly I remember this song crying with a mother for her lost daughter, crying with a father and the twin brother of a young man who loved and followed Jesus, but died suddenly last week. First time I heard them was the album live like that long time ago words can't express how moving it was and it's the beginning of reconciling my marriage with my wife we weren't divorced but we were almost there after 37 years of marriage. You guys keep playing that music lives are being touched and changed I'm so very grateful so very grateful .... there's not enough time or words... This reminds me so much of my son who died two years ago today. He was a talented singer and songwriter. He died at 38 from Melanoma. When he died it was obvious this song was true of him. Touched my heart on this special day.

This song explains how my older brother looked at life.. he passed in 2009 but this was one of his favorite bands. He tried to get me to not care what the world thought of me, but what Christ thought of me. Now he is up with the God who cares the most. Most of all he left a great impact on my life teaching me to live like that! My brother was 19 when he passed I am now 21... at the time I was 18. I am going to see my brother in heaven living in the way of the lord!!!

About a month ago I was at fall retreat camp in the mountains of Colorado! When I got home from camp, I was exhausted and the memories of the weekend replaying in my head. For some reason this song was the background music to those memories. We didn't even play this song, but I guess it tied so well into the message that I was thinking about it. Our group has been focusing for the last 18 months about loving each other with joy and we've been challenged again and again to Love Like Jesus! At the camp, I witnessed the love of Jesus so strongly that I brought it home with me along with the memories. This song reminds me of the challenge of the camp! Such a beautiful thing!
