That is so awesome brother! For years I did nothing but get drunk, get high, and sell drugs, and things that I won’t mention here but God showed up in my life in a big way as well and took all of that away and gave me a new start to life. I’ve been sober for about 10 years now and I now work at a church promoting the gospel thanks to his grace which I could’ve never deserved. God is so great!

The college I go to doesn’t favor Christians, I am a follower of Christ and I am proud to be called a child of God. At the college there is the banged up piano that I play every Tuesday and Thursday, I often find myself playing praise songs that I play at church (with a Christian band). Every now and then someone will knock on the door and they will ask me what song I just played. The moment I give them the title and author they leave me and they go listen to whatever I’m playing outside the room. They listen to the song from beginning to end. This is one way that God has used me to get to people, just wanted to say Thank you for the wonderful testimony of this song and know that I will play this song at this college that needs Jesus's love. He is slowly coming back. Please pray for him. He would be a force to be reckoned with if he surrendered to God. God miraculously saved his life twice. I can't help but feel that God will use him mightily some day. It's all I live for... That day .

Pilgrim4now I am a meth addict. I got clean and learned to route demons and see the cracks in the silver lining into the heart of where problems are that need corrected. Learned the word sober and said send me I'll go into the trenches. And so now I'm in the trenches n back on drugs. I have lost everything that meant anything to me. People, things, and now I'm with Jesus fitting a whole city's worth of disaster on my shoulders. They think I'm all wrong for using, I know they're wrong for trying to shove me to their own end of the story when it's not my time yet. There was a prophesy a few years back saying Jesus was gonna use his servants in ways never before seen to drag the evil lakes of the country and clean it up. So don't give up if he uses drugs again. We're addicts. It's guaranteed we will use again. It's all about how u use your time while using. A christian addict can reach another addict in ways a sober person cannot. So pray Gods will and let him go where God leads even if it looks strange to the normal and scares you. If you're afraid then you're out of the normal.comfort zone and growing. I had a revelation of God's sacrifice 3.5 years ago sitting in my car screaming at the top of my lungs "if I'm doing your will y does it hurt so bad?" All of a sudden everything went pitch black and I was staring at a man sitting in the dark on a hill praying father of it be your will take this cup from me; yet not my will, your will be done. Then I was standing in a sea of people looking up at a man having on the cross crying out my God my God why has thou forsaken me?! A knife pierced through my soul and my heart shattered as I heard a voice saying it's okay to be mad at me and question me. I understand your pain better than you understand it yourself and I am pleased with your obedience. Well done my good and faithful servant. I had a whole new level of understanding and appreciation for love Jesus must have for all of us to do what he did on the cross.

My grandmother died on April 11 2012 I wish I heard this song at that time. Life has been very hard very hard there have been times where the thought of suicide came about. This and other songs remind me of the love that God has for me.

Thank you very much, good sir. My heart's been hardened so much since I've seen the evil that mankind is capable of, how Satan has deceived so many people to become petty and self-centered. But deep down, every time I tell the lie... Every time I say I don't care, that mankind can burn in hell... I know I don't mean any of it. The part that hurts most is that I do care. I actually want to help others, and it's taking all of my strength just to hold on to what makes me faithful. In this grim, dismal time we live in, where morality has become subject to the convenience of the flesh, and so many carry ulterior motives, people like you show me that hope is not lost. The fact that God can show me kind-hearted individuals with a sense of righteousness is enough to keep me going. Without the hope that drives me forward, I surely would have lost my mind by now. I still believe that there's a way for us all to be redeemed. Even though lies are widespread, and the enemy attempts to suppress the truth, we still have a chance to be free if we believe. Although humanity has failed, and fallen to the alluring power-lust prevalent in our time, we still have a chance to make things right. Power has a purpose, and it is our duty to ensure that whatever influence we're blessed with doesn't go to waste.

You have no idea how much I needed to read this comment. Recently I've been going through a hard time. I'm about to lose the best job I've ever had. My dog died a couple of months ago, and my mother is going through so many things right now it's ridiculous. God works in mysterious ways, and sometimes something that we did but we don't know why, we just felt a pull to do it is God working through us. Don't give up on him because he will never give up on you. And I remember a time when I was 4 yrs old, and I was on Costco with my mother on errands. I heard a random voice (God) speaking to me he said "you see rat woman over there, I want you to give her a hug" I ran away from my mom and went to that lady and said "I don't know why but God told me you needed a hug" she looked up crying "how did you know i needed a hug I just found out I'm about to die of cancer". This comment could be like that!

I first heard this song in middle school. Growing up in church, i knew the truths but im not sure i ever truly believed them. I accepted Jesus at a young age but had no idea what i was up against. I cant even begin to count how many times ive walked forward a few steps only to walk backward another 10+. The past few years of my life it seems like i was hundreds of miles away just floating out in the sea with no where to go, until about 2 weeks ago. I heard God's voice as if he was standing right next to me and he said "Follow me." This feeling is overwhelming. It consumes you and makes you want more. So i followed. Im new. Im different. But even though i am different, my world around me wasnt. Everything else had stayed the same. Ive been able to hold tight to to those 2 words, follow me, pretty well until yesterday. Im not sure what sparked it but i just became angry. Angry that loved ones had died a few years ago, angry that other loved ones have strayed away from God's word, angry that my spouse is on the fence about what he believes.... angry, hurt, confused, frustrated!!!! This morning i remembered as Believers we are suppose to bring things like this before the Lord and leave it at his feet, so i hit my knees and prayed. I layed everything, all the anger and hurt, at God's feet and sat in silence as i wept. I wasnt expecting a response, but i got one. I was told that i will see the reasons in time, but for now know that He has always loved me. Even when i betrayed Him, He has loved me. In my anger, He has loved me. And just as He has loved me, He has also loved the others i put at His feet today. Take comfort in Him, in the love He has for me that was demonstrated through the death of His son on the cross.... Then this song, a song i havent listened to in years, came to mind. I pressed play and melted. All my anger, all my pain, God said let me handle this and you just focus on my love for you. God's love is so powerful. Honestly, its the best thing in the whole world. So many people are missing out on this wonderful gift of God's love and have no idea. My prayer is that, Lord willing, one day they feel it too.

For years I did nothing but get drunk, get high, and sell drugs, and things that I won’t mention here but God showed up in my life in a big way as well and took all of that away and gave me a new start to life. I’ve been sober for about 10 years now and I now work at a church promoting the gospel thanks to his grace which I could’ve never deserved. God is so great!

The college I go to doesn’t favor Christians, I am a follower of Christ and I am proud to be called a child of God. At the college there is the banged up piano that I play every Tuesday and Thursday, I often find myself playing praise songs that I play at church (with a Christian band). Every now and then someone will knock on the door and they will ask me what song I just played. The moment I give them the title and author they leave me and they go listen to whatever I’m playing outside the room. They listen to the song from beginning to end. This is one way that God has used me to get to people, just wanted to say Thank you for the wonderful testimony of this song and know that I will play this song at this college that needs Jesus's love. A recovering heroin addict who got into drugs because he was molested for two years (6-7 years old) by his elementary school principal He never told us until he was 17. He hated God for a long time. He is slowly coming back. Please pray for him. He would be a force to be reckoned with if he surrendered to God. God miraculously saved his life twice. I can't help but feel that God will use him mightily some day. It's all I live for... That day .

Pilgrim4now I am a meth addict. I got clean and learned to route demons and see the cracks in the silver lining into the heart of where problems are that need corrected. Learned the word sober and said send me I'll go into the trenches. And so now I'm in the trenches n back on drugs. I have lost everything that meant anything to me. People, things, and now I'm with Jesus fitting a whole city's worth of disaster on my shoulders. They think I'm all wrong for using, I know they're wrong for trying to shove me to their own end of the story when it's not my time yet. There was a prophesy a few years back saying Jesus was gonna use his servants in ways never before seen to drag the evil lakes of the country and clean it up. So don't give up if he uses drugs again. We're addicts. It's guaranteed we will use again. It's all about how u use your time while using. A christian addict can reach another addict in ways a sober person cannot. So pray Gods will and let him go where God leads even if it looks strange to the normal and scares you. If you're afraid then you're out of the normal.comfort zone and growing. I had a revelation of God's sacrifice 3.5 years ago sitting in my car screaming at the top of my lungs "if I'm doing your will y does it hurt so bad?" All of a sudden everything went pitch black and I was staring at a man sitting in the dark on a hill praying father of it be your will take this cup from me; yet not my will, your will be done. Then I was standing in a sea of people looking up at a man having on the cross crying out my God my God why has thou forsaken me?! A knife pierced through my soul and my heart shattered as I heard a voice saying it's okay to be mad at me and question me. I understand your pain better than you understand it yourself and I am pleased with your obedience. Well done my good and faithful servant. I had a whole new level of understanding and appreciation for love Jesus must have for all of us to do what he did on the cross.

Thank you very much, good sir. My heart's been hardened so much since I've seen the evil that mankind is capable of, how Satan has deceived so many people to become petty and self-centered. But deep down, every time I tell the lie... Every time I say I don't care, that mankind can burn in hell... I know I don't mean any of it. The part that hurts most is that I do care. The fact that God can show me kind-hearted individuals with a sense of righteousness is enough to keep me going. Without the hope that drives me forward, I surely would have lost my mind by now.

Although humanity has failed, and fallen to the alluring power-lust prevalent in our time, we still have a chance to make things right. You have no idea how much I needed to read this comment. Recently I've been going through a hard time. I'm about to lose the best job I've ever had. My dog died a couple of months ago, and my mother is going through so many things right now it's ridiculous. God works in mysterious ways, and sometimes something that we did but we don't know why, we just felt a pull to do it is God working through us. Don't give up on him because he will never give up on you. And I remember a time when I was 4 yrs old, and I was on Costco with my mother on errands. I heard a random voice (God) speaking to me he said "you see rat woman over there, I want you to give her a hug" I ran away from my mom and went to that lady and said "I don't know why but God told me you needed a hug" she looked up crying "how did you know i needed a hug I just found out I'm about to die of cancer". This comment could be like that!

I first heard this song in middle school.
Growing up in church, i knew the truths but im not sure i ever truly believed them. I accepted Jesus at a young age but had no idea what i was up against. I cant even begin to count how many times ive walked forward a few steps only to walk backward another 10+. The past few years of my life it seems like i was hundreds of miles away just floating out in the sea with no where to go, until about 2 weeks ago.
I heard God's voice as if he was standing right next to me and he said "Follow me." This feeling is overwhelming. It consumes you and makes you want more. So i followed. Im new. Im different. But even though i am different, my world around me wasnt. Everything else had stayed the same.
Ive been able to hold tight to to those 2 words, follow me, pretty well until yesterday. Im not sure what sparked it but i just became angry. Angry that loved ones had died a few years ago, angry that other loved ones have strayed away from God's word, angry that my spouse is on the fence about what he believes.... angry, hurt, confused, frustrated!!!!
This morning i remembered as Believers we are suppose to bring things like this before the Lord and leave it at his feet, so i hit my knees and prayed. I layed everything, all the anger and hurt, at God's feet and sat in silence as i wept.
I wasnt expecting a response, but i got one. I was told that i will see the reasons in time, but for now know that He has always loved me. Even when i betrayed Him, He has loved me. In my anger, He has loved me. And just as He has loved me, He has also loved the others i put at His feet today. Take comfort in Him, in the love He has for me that was demonstrated through the death of His son on the cross....
Then this song, a song i havent listened to in years, came to mind. I pressed play and melted. All my anger, all my pain, God said let me handle this and you just focus on my love for you.
God's love is so powerful. Honestly, its the best thing in the whole world. So many people are missing out on this wonderful gift of God's love and have no idea. My prayer is that, Lord willing, one day they feel it too.

I have done all these things time and again as well. I sometimes wish God could give me the power to put satan in his place when he attacks me, and though I can its harder said than done. Even when one word can fell that man! To outsmart him at every corner. Yet why would I or we need Jesus then if he gave us that power? Rather why would we look to him? The first time I actually listened to the words, this song cut so deep in my heart I just cried realizing how deep the Father's love for us is. Thorns...sweat...Nails...Judas,s kiss bring me to tears everytime I sing those parts. Im So thankful for Jesus,s love.
