It is sad to see that there is so much negativity in these comments. This woman is only trying to help us out. 🤷♀️
I found this video extremely helpful and I had no issues with the audio.
@Isel Thank you sir🙏 for your supporting comment.
Really hope this material is useful and if any questions come up. I would like the opportunity to clarify instead of being shot down before even being given a chance.
Much blessings to you Isel!
Finally!! Something I can do with things I already have without purchasing a wash!
@Che'LynnMarie 😊Hello dear! So happy to hear and intention mission complete🙌
Love it! I'm pretty OCD about cleaning produce as well. We go natural too, but this is what my wife uses to clean them: @
@BrianBordenkircher that's very good to hear and glad it's working out for your family as well 🧽 🧼
I have found the green fuzzy cabbage worms in fresh leafy greens in the past🥴 so that could also use the help of this rinse
I add mine to a bowl put water, white vinegar, then baking soda. Love the fuzzy action it makes! I let it sit for a few minutes then give a good rinse and sit to dry 😊
Do you use tap water or filtered water? Because leaving produce in tap water that is full of chemicals including fluoride isn't healthy
Pre Covid. Outstanding.
I'm thinking perhaps washing your leafy stuff before the waxy apples
@HarveyH Thank you for pointing that out and good point. Normally I wash them separately but that would work.
You gotta melt the wax off or skin the apply before eating it, don’t worry about not eating the fiber you can make up for it by adding something high in fiber into your diet making you even healthier in the process
I’ve been using the vinegar wash for years. My sink 1/2 full hold’s
2 gallons of water and I add 1/2 a cup of vinegar.
Then soft skin fruit goes on the bottom, (apples, pears) followed by fuzzy fruit, (peaches, strawberries) and top of with greens. (Cilantro, parsley)
Let them soak for 15 minutes and rinse with fresh water. Some I air dry others are towel dried.
Tip: cilantro and parsley come bundled with a rubber band or twisty. Don’t remove them, wash- rinse- shake xcess water remove twisty and then place them in a tall glass with a little water, they usually stay fresh in my fridge for 7-9 days.
Hello BBGreen😊 really appreciate you sharing your tips with all of us. Really valuable info
Thank you again!
Thank you for sharing. I would have love to see what the cilantro looked like after it soaked.
Thank you. Just what I wanted to know :)
Nothing wrong with the audio. Excellent presentation!
@Christopherkilian Thank you for the feedback and Iam always open for suggestions and advice. Much blessings Chris!
Thank you! 😀 Def trying this..I liked an Subscribed..will be sharing!
Thank you. Question, how do you get it dry enough to put in the fridges m.
@EllenBee Hello Ellen!👋
I shake off the excess water and leave it out on the counter on paper/or cloth towels to dry. Once completely dry, I then store in the fridge.
Placing dry towels in the fridge bins absorbs extra moisture the veggies might release and helps prolong the storage life of your fruits and veggies.
Hope this helps and if any other questions come up, Iam a message away!😊

Why use vinegar? I question that.
How will we know if it's actually taken all the pesticide
Thank you! This helped me a lot today 👍🏼
You're welcome and glad it helped! Thank you for letting me know :-)
Thank You I am going to try this!
@ninawade anytime😊 and hope you have a blessed New Year here soon!
Would red wine vinegar work as well as white vinegar?
@Christopherkilian Hi Chris😊 as for your question about the red wine vinegar. Yes, that can be used to disinfect.
However, white distilled vinegar is best at disinfecting and removing potential bacteria plus more economical.
Save the red wine vinegar for a tasty dressing instead. Hope this helps👩🏻🍳
Thank you for this video.
@KellyRichmond ...if anything, thank you❤😊
If I soak mangoes in baking soda and salt solution for 10 hr by mistake, is it safe to eat them
@paeanpawn yes that is not a problem as salt is a cleanser and disinfectant. The only thing is given the 10 hr time soak your mangos might be a bit shribbled but nonetheless safe to consume
@@CookingwithLilia thanks
Thank you 😊
@JHopson Hi Friend!👋
Thank you for watching😊
thank you so much
😊 Anytime @HossEin
Fantastic!
@KevinLi thank you sir!😊
Can it remove 197 types of Pesticides
@TheFreedomLife 197...😅 that I could not confirm but you are definetly better of giving it a try😉
Sea salt or Kosher salt?
@Christopherkilian Either salt works fine and you could even use a table salt for this as well.
Sea salt and Kosher salt are more important in terms of cooking. But for this solution the vegetables will get rinsed after the soak so a table salt works perfectly fine. Hope this helps.
Buy from farmers market it's better than grocery stores
I whole-heartedly agree with you.
Although grocery stores provide location and time conveniences that make desicion making easier.
hello, where did you buy that big stainless still bowl? thanks!
@LanNguyen ...going to look for the brand and size and send it over

Thanks for the information lilia!!! Btw your beautiful!
+Mad Mystic happy to help mad mystic 😊
How long to soak tomatoes?
An hour dear
1 part water to 4 parts vienegar would be 1 cup of vinegar to 4 cups of water, not 1 tablespoon to 4 cups. You did a 1 part vinegar to 64 parts water solution, which is basically just all water lol.
Thank you Jeffery for bringing this up (you are correct on the ratios).
However, the solution is 1 Tablespoon of Distilled White Vinegar for 4 Cups of Water. Which is enough vinegar to "clean" your produce.
Hello, don’t think your losing your mind cleaning your food, there are folks advocating not cleaning their poultry! OMG.
I grow my produce and I’m looking for ways to clean the outside elements off.
Thanks for this video.
@LiveFromtheGround! 👋Hi Friend
😅one can only try right? Thank you for stopping by and it is very impressive to know you grow your own produce! I have stuck with herbs for some time but will have to venture out to produce again.
Blessings!
@@CookingwithLilia Go for it! Start small you can grow in containers in the house if necessary. Peace and Be Well!
@LiveFromtheGround! 😊Definitely and if you have any tips and tricks you could share that would be helpful👩🏻🌾
@@CookingwithLilia cool, will do, check out my non-expert channel, I experiment with everything including editing lol.. Nothing beats a failure but a try. Peace
Why wash poultry if cooking it to a certain degree kills all bacteria?. CDC recommends not washing poultry due to spreading bacteria.
Is it not affected on nutrition level....??
Proportion plz water & white vinegar....
Protity Das 4 cups to a tablespoon vinegar
Jamás en la vida había destinado tiempo a desinfectar una manzana, pero quizá sea tiempo de adoptar dicha medida.
@JuanEscutia Saludos!👋
Si, creo que es falta de costumbre o quizas nuevo (bueno en mi caso fue asi hasta que vi una tia y mi abuela tomar este processo)
Te invito a que pruebes este metodo😊
sound is atrocious.
I agree, it's a constant evolution, and I am working on that👩🏻💻
Cheerios...seriously? If you eat Cheerios then pesticides on your vegetables aren't a big deal in your household. Do they still put gypsum board in Cheerios? I know they put gypsum in corn flakes. Lol
@FrankSummerlin Oh no was not aware. However I have not been consuming cereal in a few years but very good to know. Will do research. Thank you for the heads up!😊

Hi 👋 @RoshniPulikken 😊 feel free to share recommendations and constructive criticism on improvement that way all the other viewers can benefit from this as well❤.
I really enjoy what I do and as a self taught and one person show carrying multiple hats (director, producer, editor, filmer, etc) this journey is a constant evolution.

Ur sound quality is worst and irritating , plz use a microphone for audio recording
What's irritating is your bad command of the english language and unfriendly attitude. Checked your profile to get tips on amazing sound and...there is no original content. Hmm.
