I read somewhere that Einstein was too busy to worry about tidying up his desk. He knew where everything was and his office was a continuous mess with piles of books, papers and pens every where he could stack them and that was the way he rolled! I always think of him when I look around at the same thing in my studio with paints, canvases and paintings everywhere. Now I'm potting plants and growing seedlings in the same area! You are doing a great job my dear. You are running a business and household while planning a wedding!

Today miraculously I had enough spoons! (I love this phrase). I am so happy with what I accomplished. I had let alot of stuff pile up but today because I had a person to help keep me motivated a huge part of it got crossed of my list. I get easily overwhelmed, then depressed over stuff. Like you I have daily pain that I tend to give in too. THANK YOU for sharing your journey with us. You have helped me do much. I am really grateful.

I’m disabled and couldn’t hold down a job for years because- not enough spoons.
Now everything I do I look from the perspective of can I achieve this from my bed or sofa and it’s made a huge difference to what I put myself through. I know how many hours I can be upright for, how many hours before it’s days of payback in hypersomnia and choose wisely (mostly)
I’ll sit and make sandwiches, pre cook burgers or eggs so I don’t have to think about making food. I’m
Also a list queen so I don’t fret I’m missing something. Still never enough spoons to do the housework but it’s better than it was.

Yes! I started asking myself: what CAN I DO today? Sometimes 15 minutes is a triumph. I give myself extravagant credit for all of it.
      You are a warrior!!! 🌟

@@sophiabright8371 fabulous! Today was errand day for me - so the dog came along so he could shout out of the car window. He had a blast! My today list is complete and I’m ready for bed! It’s 3:47pm here and I was done by noon! Have a good day!

Hi jordan im in Australia , my son was diagnosed 20 years ago at age 4 with autism which has been redifined as aspergers . When he was first diagnosed i said no way , hes not like rain man ( thats what i thought autism was like ) after educating myself further and finding out what autism actually was i thought hey half my extended family are like that including my father but none of my other 4 children have autism , i had testing done and found i was a fragile x carrier which can mean i could have had a child with severe autism however my son is more like sheldon cooper from the big bang theory extremely inteligent but lacks the social skills. I have since been diagnosed myself and the specialist informed me that females are more difficult to diagnose as they are very good at masking it he also said we are all on the autism scale in some degree just some more obvious than others . My son is an amazing young man and yes has no filter sometime in what he says but he has a photographic memory can quote anything on world war 2 which is his obssession and has a great love of animals who he states are better than people his 4 siblings adore him as do his father and I , he has enriched our lives more than he knows, thankyou for bringing awareness to this that effects so many .
