Good question. There are guys who say white reflects off light color hoods so if you have a white truck like me you should do an amber light bar on the roof and white pods in the bumper. Truth is… it’s all good. I don’t really follow any of the “rules”.
All 3-inch pod lights come with an amber cover. You could try it out and see what you like the best! As @bigvanoverland1921 mentioned, we recommend using the amber cover during foggy weather.

Just to add that amber lights work better in foggy conditions than white.
