The way Yoko Shimomura talks about Mario at 2:38 is so cute. Remember, she has worked on every single Mario & Luigi game, Super Mario RPG, and Origami King. When you think about her you might immediately think "Kingdom Hearts" but the truth is she might be just as much Mario as she is Sora.
I think about Mario RPGs more than Kingdom Hearts personally, but that's definitely a me thing

LOVE seeing music getting a spotlight like this! Would be nice to see the entire audio department get to shine in a video and have sound designers get to show us their hard work too.
By far the best trio of composers to have for a game like this.
You can tell while watching this that all 3 love & respect the history that both Mario and Rabbids have, and go all out with the music they make to peak the gameplay even further.
I hope someday we get a CD or some other way to just listen through the soundtrack.

@@Christalwing there hasn't been physical CD releases for game soundtracks in so long I'm pretty sure they won't do it... More likely a vinyl, maybe

@@jucv07 Japanese companies do physical CD releases all the time through their own labels, think Square, Capcom, Sega, Falcom etc., at least for their respective bigger games (Check VGMDB for examples). Even Nintendo is willing to do a premium collectors' soundtrack release on CDs from time to time. Sure, most of those soundtracks have to be imported, but that's not really a big deal.
It's just Western companies who generally don't do physical releases that often, but they also often don't really care enough about their video game music to release it at all. But to be frank, soundtrack releases aren't really publicized when they happen, especially from Western branches of Japanese Publishers. When it's a vinyl though, it's made a bigger deal.
I always love to see these short documentaries about the music in videogames. It really shows the passion behind the project!

It’s an absolute miracle that a game with such a silly, out-there concept won so many people over with great gameplay and characters. And then the sequel came around, and knocked it out of the water.
Pretty surreal to hear Gareth being a Rayman fan, especally there's a segment where the TV shows the first two games of the Rabbids.

I’m guessing that I am excited for Mario + RABBIDS® Sparks Of Hope DLC Expansion with Rayman as a New Hero/Special Story with this Classic 3rd Party Guest Character From Ubisoft with Nintendo’s Mascot: Mario and The Crew will have Galaxy 🌌 Adventure with the Super Mario Universe Including Rabbids for an Epic wacky event/adventure about Rayman In DLC 3.

I'm extremely amazed that they managed to pull together 3 of my favorite videogame composers (with Grant and Yoko's work being some of my favorite tracks to play on the piano) and turned it into a coherent soundtrack for a game starring Mario and the Rabbids of all things. Can't wait to check it all out!
