Hey there Josh! Depends on what your primary use will be, but sounds like you've got a nice warm pair in the Stratus already, so the Mountain Pants would fit nicely between those and the Equinox. If you need more of a late season western big game style pant, I'd go with the Timberline though.
I’ve never seen the timberlines in person, it almost looks like the outside fabric is similar to a soft shell material. In your opinion is it somewhat similar? I have the first lite catalyst pants which I like a lot there soft shell “ they do breath very well” and are good for cold weather, tho I could have used more insulation last year in a all day super windy season opener. I’ve seen your video on the catalyst jacket not sure if you’ve tried the pants but how do the two materials compare? I hunt the east coast, I hunt stands sometimes other times I do a lot of walking in the mountains or marsh followed but sitting a few hrs so the typical White tail hunting gear dosent work well for me for everything+ one of these days I wanna hunt out west so I want to be ready for that. Not sure if mountain pant and a pair of insulated zip up pants would be better
Hey there Thaniel! These are going to be similar to the Catalyst pants. I have the Catalyst as well, and I would say the shell material of Timberline is a bit more heavy duty. Similar warmth between the two. The Timberlines have the waterproof seat and knees though, which is very nice. The Timberlines are kind of like a soft shell material....not windproof, but in my experience better than the Catalyst in the wind. With either pair, a puffy pant zipped over them would be good on super cold days or long sits though as neither are insulated. Thanks for watching!
Hey Cole! I'd say they run a little small....but not a full size small. They are an athletic fit, so I typically wear a 33 or 34, and these 34R fit great. Thanks for watching!
My timberlines bought last year (sub-alpine and open-country) both have two way zippers. Interesting 🧐. Awesome pants, Great review.
Hey Ryan! That's very interesting indeed! Mine are 2 years old I believe, so maybe they changed that after I got them? Who knows. Thanks for watching!
Самый лучший обзор 👍🏻. Спасибо 🤝
Thank you!
So I have Sitka Stratus & Sitka Equinox. If you were getting either mtn pants or timberline which would you lean toward?

Are they a true fit? I’m new to sitka pants and wondering if I should order 32R or 32T

Is that molle webbing on the belt loops or is that doe the suspenders
Hey there Kris! That is where the suspenders attach if you want to use them. It does kinda look like Molle webbing though! Thanks for watching!
