I really do think NECA cares more about making awesome toys than making obscene profit margins. As long as they remain profitable it's a winning strategy that creates long term loyal customers. Can't wait to see your review on the next one. Did you buy the deluxe Stitches figure too?

It's amazing how NECA can produce such amazing figures at the $20 price point, especially when you compare them to let's say Hasbro who continually reduces the quality of their figures at that same price. This year alone Hasbro reduced the paint app's and build quality on the Star Wars Black line, and well it seems like every Marvel Legend figure that releases now see's less and less paint... Yet, Hasbro is the larger company with a much larger budget...

oh yeah since you ask for information Arthas' sword is called the Frostmourne and he started a good guy but ultimately falling to the Scourge. kinda like Anakin turned to the dark side.
It is possible to make super articulated figures with heavy armor, for instance the Revoltech Monster Hunter figures. So in that regard, I'd like to see an import company tackle these, but that's extremely unlikely. Like you said, for the price point, the sculpt and paint detail is more than sufficient and makes up for it in the eyes the average collector, but I'm all about articulation, so this will be a pass.
+Samuntrus making a figure this size with this amount of detail have a good range of motion would make the figure cost $80+ easy.
Haha, of course, which I'd be willing to pay, but I know a lot of others wouldn't, so I say this figure is a success all around.

hey Anthony, I was wondering if you ever had any issues with soft, rubbery plastic deteriorating with time? I remember some of the capes on old figures I owned would get really messy and sticky. Moreover, paint on this type of material can get sticky, especially if its glossy. Wonder if you ever had any of those problems?

Did they really not put in the iconic white tendrils off his shoulders?? That's like, THE Tyrael look.. I'm extrememly dissapointed and would go so far as to say that they did him a true injustice in this figure..

Yeah but honestly it's like doing an iconic Batman or Superman figure without his Cape.. It's missing a HUGE part of the character's appearance - and with Tyrael I'd go even further and say his wings are way more important to his character than Batman/Sup's cape.

This is probably one of my least favorite figures it doenst pose well At all i bought it cuz it looked cool but mcfarlane has great sculpt and still articulates i wish neca did much better with this guy
