Hi guys! It's been a long time. I was very busy as many events are reopening in 14 months. I opened this channel on April 14th in 2020 but the first official video was uploaded on May 13th. I think today is the real Traum’s anniversary!! 🎉🥳 Looking back on 2020, it was an extremely tough time, but I could keep working happily because of you guys. I thought I lost so many things after the COVID-19 but actually, that was not true. I could meet you all through this channel, I could play piano for so many people all around the world and most importantly, I received a huge ‘LOVE’ from you guys. "Picture at an Exhibition" by Mussorgsky is one of the pieces that I learned during the pandemic. As you might know, this piece has so many titles. And I thought, there are many things that I could say through this piece - what I felt, what I thought, what I’ve prayed for... How my heart was broken and I cried as a musician and as a human. To me, the last piece “In the Capital in Kiev” feels like going for a better and more beautiful world. As we approach to overcoming the COVID-19, I wanted to give back to society what I’ve received so many things from you guys.👏 So I donated to Unicef $1000 for hunger children💰💵. The Botagyr Gates made me cry… Partially because of how beautiful it was, and partially because Kiev, which is where it took place, is a beautiful kingdom that no longer exists. Each movement represents of the artworks which the Russian composer visited. Although it was originally composed for piano in 1874, it became better known as an orchestral work, particularly Maurice Ravel's arrangement. Mussorgsky composed "Pictures at an Exhibition" as a memorial to his friend, Viktor Hartmann, who died in 1873. After his death some of his artworks were shown. This is a great choice of piece Btw this is the piece I regularly choose to introduce my friends to classical pieces. I show them the pieces and ask them to try and visualize what they see in the music. I walk them through the piece and explain the history as we go along. In the end they stick the whole way through and love to visualize each painting. I then tell them what the piece is actually picturing and in the end they end up loving it Thank you traum for this wonderful year, we are all greatful

first time i’ve listened to this piece all the way through. i’ve never liked it much for some reason but i’m beginning to enjoy it thanks to you!
I just finished listening... it was so awesome, filled with every array of emotion. I can’t wait until the community bands together and attends one of your events and then at the end you just hear people chanting “TRAUM... TRAUM...TRAUM” (not really though because classical, but it would be good 😊)
