Get the dongle and buy the standard EarPods with a 3.5mm audio Jack. If the headphones break, they are cheaper to replace and now they are even more useful!
Probably but not that noticeable. At least when I change formats on the MAC from AAC to Hi-Res lossless, it’s less “compressed” and you increase the volume higher without distortion.
The only thing Apple need help with is making that connecter smaller cuz it’s too long I be scared of loosing my port or it bending in my pocket…probably just me lol
Could you test if usb c earpods functions as a peripheral on a USB-C KVM switch between two Macs, or alternatively, between a Mac and an iPhone/Android device? very appreciated
Apple started using USB-C way before most other companies, they just didn't add it to iPhones right away. The first Apple device with USB-C was the 2015 12" MacBook. In 2016, the MacBook Pro not only got USB-C but it got the updated Thunderbolt 3 which used USB-C.
Crazy how Apple only just added USB-C to EarPods and iPhone, since they were one of the first ones to use USB-C, even before Samsung started using it on their phones. First Apple product to use USB-C was the 2015 MacBook.
better sound quality (meaning capable of doing lossless), much better microphone, no need to worry about running out of charge and much lower cost. wireless is just that, no wires, everything else is still subpar.
@@rafaelmatosdasilvaI think the only legitimate concern is price and battery. The vast majority of people cannot tell lossless vs high quality and the microphone depends on the headphones.
I hate the fact that we need to charge it too. I will just stick to charging my phone only. Also the reason why i dont wanna buy a smartwatch. I hate the fact that we need to charge everything.
@@redcrowcrow3929 I just keep wireless charging stations where I keep my stuff. My Airpods get pulled out of my pocket when I get home and unload everything, keys, wallet etc. I just keep a wireless puck there.
I’m gonna play devil’s advocate and say they did always make wired options and included the adapter when they first switched. Considering the popularity of AirPods, even on the android side, I’d say they probably made the right move.
Welcome to the future guys
Future is portless!
Welcome to 2015
Back to the future and back again!
My Poco M4 has a protection over the usb C in there included case!
@@Leonardo-hu9shtbh wired is better, not for the outside world (convenience wise) but imo wired will always work faster and be better lol
I still use the wired ones as I drift off to sleep listening to tech podcasts. I may have to buy a usb-c pair
buy tanchjim one dsp sound better
No, wired in bed isn’t nice. That’s when I use my overeat headphones
Plug them into a handheld gaming device that already has a headphone jack.
the call quality was good on this
Get the dongle and buy the standard EarPods with a 3.5mm audio Jack. If the headphones break, they are cheaper to replace and now they are even more useful!
I love this idea
USB-C EarPods support Lossless audio tho, but I wonder if the usb-c version would work with the dongle (lossless audio I mean)
@@ok_geniusdid you buy it? I was wondering the same thing, if I use usb c earpods with a 3.5mm headphone plug adapter, will it still sound the same?
@@experiencelifelittleone no I haven’t, I’ve only heard abt USB-C having lossless audio, I’m wondering the same thing tho
there is literally usb c earpods wtf should i get 3.5mm with dongle? makes no sense
wired earphones rock!
for android, does microphone work for CALLS...what about volume buttons ? those never worked on the 3.5mm model !!!!
they work on android
@@linklinkvms actually on SOME MODELS ...not all !!!!!!!
is there any difference in terms of audio and microphone quality, when compared to the old 3.5 jack version?
I also need advice on this
These are very very good for phonecalls no matter what AirPods you have bluetooth will never sounds as good as wired conection.
How is the call quality?
Does the sound quality improve in AAC sound codec and also the lossless since it support it?
Probably but not that noticeable.
At least when I change formats on the MAC from AAC to Hi-Res lossless, it’s less “compressed” and you increase the volume higher without distortion.
I just got back to using wired iem‘s and headphones and will most probably never go back.
Tysm for thid video!!
The only thing Apple need help with is making that connecter smaller cuz it’s too long I be scared of loosing my port or it bending in my pocket…probably just me lol
Should I get the 3.5mm ones or usbc?
Does they work with Android devices except pixel and Samsung? I wanted to buy these but i have a Xiaomi device
Yet they still refuse to include them in the box because it costs an extra 5 cents
Designed in California.. Made in China 😂😂
Could you test if usb c earpods functions as a peripheral on a USB-C KVM switch between two Macs, or alternatively, between a Mac and an iPhone/Android device? very appreciated
It’s a long shot but Do they work plugged into top of Xbox /ps5 controllers
does this work on a desktop with converter?
Loseless audio with the 15 Pro Max 😮
Say goodbye to the headphone jack on ALL Mac laptops
Apple: Write that down!
the headphone jack on the Mac was updated to a high impedance jack to power high end headphones so it isn't happening anytime soon
@@Yzyenthusiast The same high impedance jack in iPods and in the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter...
I wouldn't doubt the USB-C to 3.5mm uses the same DAC
So...tbh why do apple users need a tutorial for wired earphones? Just because it now has usb-c?
Got mine today ❤
These are really tight and difficult to remove from the port. While removing I feel I’ll rip them apart
Exactly!! I wonder, Will earpods affect charging port if i am a heavy user who is audiophile.
Is this earpods works on samsung phones especially the volume buttons
apple didn't do that. everybody but apple did. and now apple is forced to comply else they would get hated by everyone else

This means Apple will have to have "courage" again and remove the Type-C port.
Nah that would be too dystopian right?
Is there any way to connect it to iPhone 14
Will this work with iPhone 14 with an adapter ?
New EarPods with Usb C works with smartphone Android?
Would they work on the Switch? I realize there is a type-c port, but Nintendo always has to be a bit different…
I might have to test that in the future if I buy those
They unfortunately don’t work with the Switch, tried it myself
How do they sound
Does all three buttons works with Android?
Can plz confirm on android it doesn’t stuck at 50% volume
This is legit so nice 😆
Do they work with a Nintendo Switch?
Why would anyone want to use these when awesome iems in the same price range is a thing. 😂...
only for Mics, I have Iems and I use them just for their mics.
Or you know, use the universal headphone jack.
Welcome Apple to 2017!

Waiting for earpods pro.. my ear cant wear this. Always fall off lmao
Doesn't work with all Android phones.
"Modern" what?
But not a reason for the update to iPhone 15... and very rarely people read the comment section in shorts.. great ad 👍🏻
If there's no 3.5 mm Audio Jack, it can be difficult to connecting to Speakers 😅
Honest question because I know many people still like wired ear buds. Why? Why would anyone choose wires over wireless? Wired people, explain!

Bro call me *poor* In 4 different ways
Are these active or passive?
neither, they don't go far enough into your ear canal to categorize them as passive
@ I am talking about connection, not about noise cancellation
and which company pioneered the anti-consumerist take of removing the headphone jack?
how quickly we forget.

I mean technically it was the Motorola Moto Z which came out before the iPhone 7 was officially announced
oopo ws the first company to remove the headphone jack
Is this satire?
Does it come with a built in DAC?
I don't think they need a Dac inbuilt because 3.5mm are fairly loud without the need of a dongle
Smartphones have DAC in them. Plus these ear buds are likely completely digital they dont need any analog of any kind yes this is possible
@@ranagxo thats not what dacs do
All USB-C (and Lightning) headphones/earphones have DACs. 👍
Of course, usb c output would be digital, the earphone will convert this analogue for the earphones
Lossless baby
Why would I ever do this if I already have 3.5mm on my iPhone6? This is just a waste of money and environmental stability.
What the heck does your iPhone 6 have anything to do with this, this is just an option for those who like USB C
Iphone6, how bad is the battery
What a concept
And usb-c apple earpods can support lossless audio
