Sonic Adventure 1 is definitely my fave. In that version it sounded like he had enough of Sonic and was finally gonna rid him once for all. Sonic 06/Unleashed/Colors was truly terrifying. It showed how much of world terrorist he truly was and imo fits the most. Eggman may have been built on comical but hes a world terrorist that turns animals into robots, invades cities with armies of robots, destroys the freaking moon, blows up the freaking earth, was ready to mind control everyone on the planet, built warships.
I'm gonna say it: 06 Eggman had the best theme. The other ones may be more memorable to people, but 06 version was just like, "Holy shit, there's a sociopath with a shitload of robots kidnapping our country's ruler." It fit, and it made him more of a villain to be taken seriously.

Ben Hughes or at the very least the homing shot (The yellow ball) for his neutral B and maybe the Rocket Launcher special from multiplayer (The one that shoots a bunch of rockets upwards that later fall as rain) for a down B maybe? Imo it would be hilarious but awesome & brilliant to see him riding his egg mobile using both tools from SA2/modern sonic games.... AND classic tools like the ball & Chain from Sonic 1 or the drill from sonic 2 (or was it 3?) for his normal attacks.

Yo you can't just cut off the Sonic Rush Eggman theme before you get to the "Go ahead, scratch me!" Sonic Rush Eggman theme (Metal Scratchin'): 10/10. Sonic Rush Adventure Eggman theme: 0/10 not Metal Scratchin'. Also, Sonic '06 Eggman theme is based on the Sonic 1 Eggman theme I think. Then Unleashed and Colours ditched the Spooky Strings™ that were carrying part of the Sonic 1 melody and the result is the modern Eggman theme.
"I am the Eggman" seems to be one of the prevailing themes throughout the years. The other better theme in my opinion would be the Eggman "Imperial March" - probably one of the only good things to come from Sonic '06

or at the very least the homing shot (The yellow ball) for his neutral B and maybe the Rocket Launcher special from multiplayer (The one that shoots a bunch of rockets upwards that later fall as rain) for a down B maybe?
Imo it would be hilarious but awesome & brilliant to see him riding his egg mobile using both tools from SA2/modern sonic games.... AND classic tools like the ball & Chain from Sonic 1 or the drill from sonic 2 (or was it 3?) for his normal attacks.
I put him in for the poll. He could play kinda like bowser jr with all his gadgets in the egg pod and for his final smash could totally turn all 16-bit and swing his giant marble ball and chain XD

Also, Sonic '06 Eggman theme is based on the Sonic 1 Eggman theme I think. Then Unleashed and Colours ditched the Spooky Strings™ that were carrying part of the Sonic 1 melody and the result is the modern Eggman theme.

I like how they keep coming back to SA2 for subsequent titles, because it's clearly the best one that was made, you cannot defeat that riff!
Gotta say Adventure 2's was my favourite, with adventure being a close second.

The other better theme in my opinion would be the Eggman "Imperial March" - probably one of the only good things to come from Sonic '06

Well, there's certainly one thing we can credit '06 with...the advent of the best theme for the good doctor.
Actually, I remember most of the music being really good in Sonic '06, I really liked the style.

Same. Myself being within the 1% of fans that actually didn't damn '06, I enjoyed most everything in that game. Save for some of the gameplay here and there.

I know a lot of people that love the game.....
Meh, it was a pretty low point in the series. But I don't think it was the WORST Sonic game of all time.
