This reminds me of a guy on here who would recycle old portable radios into mini guitar amps by adding a jack socket, really unique sound and probably saved a bunch of old electronics from the landfill. Terrific song, heavy Jordan is heavy. 👍
Thanks! I hope the "tongue in cheek" nature is obvious... my oldest (he's 6) overheard the song and cried out, "You don't care about me?!?" Then I tried to explain irony... and then I worried that the irony wasn't obvious.
You're in luck! I think my next "thing" is a 5 song EP, which means a lot of time hunched over a machine 🤣 And if you don't mind me asking: what's something you'd like to see related to Tascam, DAWless, 4-track, etc.? I won't lie to you: I have no strategy, I'm nerdy by nature, and I end up jumping down whatever rabbit hole I come across. So there may be obvious things that I'm not seeing or thinking about.
Fantastic story telling and presentation! Memories of my grandparents and curious what happened to their stereo that I listened to as a child.. Vulnerable lyrics. Powerful expression of life and heart.❤🙏
A small thing to try with songs like this is to add a harmony vocal to the “I don’t care about you” line after the first couple of times. But Again, I think you did a great job. Even better considering you do this with no computer.
Great feedback! As I think I've said several times in other videos... I've got a lot of trepidation about background vocals. I almost always plan for them, and then most of the time, I scrap those plans. But here, when I was chasing a "big" sound, they would have been nice.
Great use of the family hifi. Glad to finally hear the full song.

I love that idea. I'll go looking for him.
... and thanks!
What a great story, perspective and song. Love the tongue in cheek lyrics and awesome guitar riff.

Thanks Stephen. I'm glad you found me!
Cool video. Love the repurposing. The song at the end sounds great. Well done
