If you are starting out I recommend opening an Etsy shop and at the same time open your own online shop on another platform like Square for example. Dedicate time to promote your own website in case Etsy doesn't work. Good luck!
Hi, I watched your other video too. I opened an Etsy shop about 2 weeks ago and just when I got 1 sale came through Etsy suspended my shop for don't know what reason! They never sent me email or reply to mine 😡

If you are considering opening a square shop there is a link in the description box where you can sign up and they will not charge anything for your first $1000 in sales. After that you will be charged 2.9% + .30 cents per transaction. They also have paid plans with premium features that you can also look into. I used to have the free plan but right now I’m paying for the professional plan which costs I think is 20 monthly. This plan removes square watermark and let my customers pay with PayPal ❤️ the free version let your customers pay with credit card, Apple Pay, google pay and that’s it. I will be making a video about square very soon so consider subscribing is that something that may interest you 😊
