When I do this, JCMs are not saving. Rather, the morphs themselves save, but the ERC is just being discarded.

I am confused, why does the Button "save as wearable" not work?
It does even show a "shirt" icon, but when I try it, it does save my CHAR, but not the garment...
Edit: I did try it with your version, it WORKED, but it didn't saved also the dforce modifier and the attached buttons :(

If your Marvelous exported OBJ has UVs applied to it, check the texture and if the logo is there, well, it will also be there in DAZ. You need the 3D mesh, its flattened version (UVs) and the texture that is projected on those UVs. Marvelous can do all that inside Marvelous, but if you plan to use your clothes elsewhere, you sure need extra work. Marvelous is often the (great) first step of a much longer workflow.
