At the John Wetton memorial service Roger Chapman played with Jim Cretan , Laurie Wisefield the Family hit “Buesque”. His voice hasn’t lost his distinctiveness.

When my dad brought there music into our home in the 70’s I was a young teenager, absolutely blew me away. Can’t really believe The Family went under the radar so to speak. Roger Chapman, what a voice!

Family released some of the most fantastic music of the seventies . Look at those singles “weavers answer” “in my own time” strange band” “burlesque”…… such original music such imagination and rockin with a funk that no one did till little feat came along. These guys are the dogs bollocks and it’s so good to know that they’re still playin this great great music 😊
