Useful skill to spot these types of marketing
Gaming companies have been doing this for years. They implement extremely egregious money-making practices in their games in order to see how far they can go before their customers get riled up. Once that happens, they remove some, but not *ALL* of the practices until said customers are appeased. Then they do it again later with a different game and the cycle repeats. It's sad how many people get suckered into this. It's why gaming right now is at its most expensive and predatory.
I guess it is a pirate life for me ..ayyy
Clear example of this is what unity recently did with their service policy, imo it was exactly their plan all along.

Para cuestión de hábitos sería mejor al revés, si quieres hacer ejercicio pide solo dos minutos y terminaras haciendo más, y en el caso de lo incomodo, piensa directamente "Ver tres horas de Netflix" y puede sonar mucho y terminas haciendo menos.

If you really wanted to improve analytics on the channel, the best way would be to just turn all of your videos into shorts instead. I’ve seen videos that were uploaded as shorts get 10x the views than the same videos uploaded normally

That's an old trading/mercantile trick. :D
There is another trick that goes vice versa that some customers do. They'd claim something is so low priced so the seller would feel more forced to give them a better price to reduce the gap. Its the art of haggling, basically.
