I recently purchased a viltrox 75 f/1.2 and would love to pair it with this 28mm lens for a great dual lens set up. I believe this set up should sufffice for most needs! Would love to win this ! Great video 😊
Recently upgraded to a Z6 after years with an entry level Nikon DSLR that we quickly outgrew. Really finding your videos helpful as we get familiar with the Z series.
Hey Joe ~ off topic. My wife and I left Sarasota in 1994, traffic was terrible then and I keep wondering about now. I haven't been back since and our kids have left that area. I never understood why people would want to live in FL? Photo question, do you go to Myakka to shoot? Some test images from there would be great with longer lenses. Happy Holidays!
Looks like a great lens, and one that would fill in a gap that Nikon doesn’t currently offer, as their 28mm lens is a 2.8, so it’s not as fast as the Viltrox. Thanks for this great video!
As I started up with photography back in 1976, my first camera was Nikkormat FT2 with 50 f:2. Soon I got the Soligor 200 f:3,5. Understood I would need a wider lens, and got the Tamron 28mm f:2,8. The 28mm was attached to camera almost all the time for many years.
It would be an excellent "macro" lens (well almost) that would also show the environment the subject lives in. I would also try it out in my Camera Trap with my Nikon Z6II.
I really like the Viltrox lenses. I have a couple already, but not this one! (Also, love the background accoutrement - Battlestar, Star Wars, Star Trek...
Hi, my brand new Viltrox 28mm f/1.8 has a slight movement when mounted on my Nikon Z6ii. I'm wondering if you have the same issue. The lens seems to function without any issues otherwise. I'm just paranoid that it doesn't appear securely mounted. All my Nikon Z lens (4 of them) mount without any movement whatsoever so I don't think it's my camera.

I lived in NY most of my life. Sarasota traffic is nothing - lol. Yes -been to Myakka a bunch of times, nice park.
