Whenever TIgrex is the topic, I like to tell my little personal story. Shortly after I bought MHF2, I found myself fighting this guy. And I just could not kill him. I struggled for WEEKS. But then, it finally happened. I killed my first Tigrex. But he wasn't done with me. The day after I killed him, I brought my PSP with me to school, to show my friend who brought me into Monster Hunter in the first place, that I indeed was victorious. But upon opening my PSP's "protection case" I noticed a crack. A big one. Right in the middle of my screen. Turns out there was some loose coin or stone (I don't remember exactly) in the case with it which bounced onto the screen everytime it moved around in my backpack. This was the first and last time I brought any console with me to school. So already pissed I start up my PSP and as you might imagine, the whole screen was cracked. I couldn't see anything. Tigrex, being defeated by my sword after weeks of fighting, gave me one last middle finger by breaking my PSP screen. I obviously got it fixed a few days later, but I still hold a deep hate-love relationship with Tigrex to this very day because of that. I wear his skin with pride in every game he's been in so far. And I deeply hope that I get another chance to do just that in MHW.
Same except for me it was the dual tigrex quest and around that time I had been playing with a team but i had moved so I didn't have help. I struggled and struggled with it until one day I gave up for a few months I came back after getting a new breath of fresh air for the series with unite. I attempted once again but this time I was successful and I had slaughtered them both. I had never had a more love or hate relationship with this monster.
I was the opposite. This dude got me so scared I killed Kut-ku for MONTHS until I worked up the confidence to kill this guy. Once I did I felt a new door opened, and I went full frenzy. Me and fought for MONTHS longer than Kut-ku a mountain of Tigrexs can be made. I loved this guy to death. He's fear that pushed you to be brave.
Tigrex holds a special place in my heart. He was my first wall as a hunter back in MHFU when I was just a kid. I spent several days trying and failing. Fighting him really made me improve at the game and when I finally beat him I jumped and screamed all over the place. It's one of those MH experiences that I will never forget.
Is he really coming to World?! Of so that's got me hyped to shit! I started MH at Freedom, then Freedom 2 (UK) and Unite. Tigrex was the first REAL monster I fell in love with. The rage mode is amazing and a lot of fun. Tigrex tought me to be patient with hunts and try a different weapon. He's going to look amazing in World, can't wait to see the armour and weapon sets. Imagine Tempered Tigrex!
I remember my first big wall in MH4U being the quest where you had to fight two frenzied Tigrex. The only way I could do it was by swapping out my usual kinsect glaive for the Gore Magala great sword and learning from youtube videos about understanding the best place to stand, what attacks to expect etc. that quest taught me a lot about learning a monster! If he's in World, we will literally be playing the MH4U opening cinematic. So exciting!!!
I had the same experience in MHFU with the quest ´land of tremors`, in witch i had to put away my trusty true devil slicer a and learn to use a great sword
I remember one of the openings of Monster Hunter chasing a hunter carrying a large ruby stone or something. Yeah if he was in world that cinematic would be real.
improvcomedy14 i dont. Do you remember him in the opening vid in freedom 2 or mh4? He goes rage mode theres no escaping. Can you imagine tigrex chasing you all over the map.
+phillipfavors2001 since it seems world is going to add a bit of verticality i think tigrex would be great for it. its in the previous games as well but think about tigrex climbing a cliff like a bat out of hell coming for you. as well as knocking you off ledges like a pro
Jho has been in every game since tri, correct? My first MH was 3U, so while I was still learning the game I started high rank. (you all see where this is going) I begrudgingly pick the annoying but easy Crimson Quadropecko expecting it to call another Rathian or Rathlos, but noooooo. I hear a new roar, then suddenly the music changes and I see a giant green T-Rex charge at me, do a little jump and begin to eat my face off! Though two max potions, ten mega potions, ten potions, and even an ancient potion. The Jho ended up killing the Quadropecko...
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was my very first MH game, so when I saw THIS thing in the opening cutscene, I immediately felt like I made a mistake. Tigrex terrified me, and when it decided to barge in on my quest to hunt for Popo Livers (I think that's what the quest was), I did nothing but run for my life. I can't even remember my first victory against this thing, I think I blocked that memory because of how tense the fight was. Huh.
Hazama Terumi My introduction to the series was MHFU too, and though there might be harder, more aggressive monsters in later encounters, I had gained enough confidence and experience to keep my mellow by that point. Tigrex came at me like a wall of charging death when I was still green. Even when it was time to properly face him it felt utterly overwhelming. I remember clear as day when I beat him, just because I was so damned surprised. I had been picking away at him for what felt like ages with my Eager Cleaver, barely avoiding some attacks and proving less lucky with others. We were both in shit shape by that point- my potion stocks were demolished and the big bastard was tail-less and battle-worn all over. He had been enraged for a while, and every moment felt like a fight just not to cart- getting an occasional cut in on the sly, but mostly just avoiding the oncoming death. I saw an opening and went in for a single overhead strike on his skull, prepared to role out of his next attack- but he died. Just died. I stood there shocked for a minute as I processed it all, realizing he'd not even tried to head back to his nest. The big raging bastard put everything he had into trying to wipe me off the face of the earth. That's the moment that all the terror I had felt from the damn thing over the course of my play time found complete and utterly validation. Tigrex is a monster if ever there was one.
i always love Tigrex because of simplicity, it looks very intimidating with it's bright color, massive jaw and claws, and on top of it, it just never stops charging at you. Tigrex is brutal and simple, and it's my favorite monster of all time from the first time he killed me in that popo tongue quest.
First time hunting Tigrex: Me: so is this some kind of tiger wyvern or something? Doesn't sound so bad. *hunt begins* *watches Tigrex intro* Me: okay it's big so what? Tigrex: *sees me* I'm coming for that booty. 45 minutes of raging later: Me: WILL THIS THING JUST DIE? Tigrex: *flees to nest* Me: Alright it's heading to its nest, I'd better fol- *timer runs out* Me: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK.
Yeah, but gunners had an out, which if abused made it much easier to deal with. Area 6 of the Snowy Mountain has that elevated area(between the paths to 5 & 7) which if you were on, Tigrex would only attack from a distance via the boulder throw attack(which could be dodged via strafing). So you can just sit up there whenever it's in 6 and safely attack him. First gen Desert, Jungle, Swamp & 2nd gen Volcano all had areas like that that could be abused.
+Ben Hobbs if it was a charge blade that must have been something 4u or after right? tigrex is easier after Tri because before that he gave maybe 3 openings during his moves which was after his charges leaving him on the opposite side of the area from you
My first Tigrex encounter was MH4U's story mode, where the first Tigrex you face is *frenzied.* I did manage to beat it on my first attempt, but I did have to play super cautious ... then of course there was that moment when it actually goes frenzied and Guildmarm tells you the Congalala dung is about to hit the fan...
Just to throw it in there, Sauropods aren't merely four-legged animals. They're specifically a group of dinosaurs known for having long necks and a herbivorous diet. From what I've heard, many of the wyverns are actually lumped up as "Wyvern Footed" - likely an offshoot of the Theropod suborder in which all the carnivorous dinosaurs hail from.
I personally hate fighting Tigrex. Mostly because of the endless attacking and low recovery times, it sure trips up your "rhythm" of playing Monster Hunter. That's the reason why I like the Charge Blade so much. I appreciate its shield because of Tigrex. Where Evasion +1-3 may fail because of attacks sometimes being kinda unexpected and almost too fast to react to and hitboxes all over the monster, the shield made me feel save. Also it helped me learning Guard Pointing a bit as well. Molten Trigrex tho can suck some mad pickle.
Wait it’s technically a sauropod?, you know, a family of large elephant legged long necked herbivores, yet it shares numerous features with theropods,.. Yea ok, that’s fine, THATS TOTALLY OK
It's easier to just invent new classification systems for these things than trying to fit them into existing categories. The tigrex could be neither sauropod nor theropod. The anatomy of most MH wyverns is too aberrant to be considered dinosaurian.
The Brutes more closely resemble Theropods than Tigrex/Narga do, other than the skull of course.... But also not Sauropods, considering the hind legs of Sauros are always longer than the forelimbs.
You fight with a sword longer than your body that has to be impossible to actually pick up and swing repeatedly against a giant tiger themed wyvern trex with a bipedal cat that can talk. Logic was surrendered a long time ago, my friend.
Hey man I just wanted to let you know that these videos are really interesting. Not only because you are covering the monsters people like but also the lore and history behind the monster and its design. It really makes the hard work by the designers be known and we'll also know more about the process from your translations. Great job keep it up proud of ya

I remember my friend, upon me first entering High Rank in MHGen, took me on a Tigrex hunt. I took one look at it, was trying to figure out how it would fight, then it just charged at me. I’m just glad I had just come off of grinding the Glavenus for its armor so I managed to react in time to dodge it. After that, I remember being caught off guard when it screamed and actually hurt me. That’ll always be one of my most remembered hunts
Sweet, one of my top 5 favorite monsters. Now please put him in MHWorld capcom, I need to see him in HD. Not to mention i'd be cool to see how a crazed wyvernic esque dinosaur would interact with the various walls and ceilings of the environment. Moreover, it's kinda weird to see an animal like Tigrex in the suborder Sauropod. It mostly consisted of dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus and Camarasaurus. I somewhat see how he fits, with the elongated neck and tail, but bus legs don't seem pillar like enough to give off a Sauropod like look. Not to mention Sauropods were herbivores...
Who could ever forget meeting a Tigrex while doing a stress free, relatively safe quest such as "Gather Popo Tongues". It's just the freakin' second Village Elder Quest to boot. When all you have experience for at this point is knowing what Herb and mushroom gathering points look like and the basic of basics in using your weapon, a tier 1 Bone weapon too! Then all of the sudden, you're being chased by a monster that caused you to fall to your death in the intro!!! I wished that they did the same kind of experience in World, when you met a Rathian for the first time. It lacked that "impending doom" feeling, when it's part of the story that the Rathian will just ignore you.
Oh wow. I probably have to summarize my story with this particular monster. I started MH with Freedom Unite (back in 2012) and Tigrex almost made me quit the game entirely. Super noob at not knowing anything about the game mechanics. Not having anyone to help/guide me. It was insane. But I'm glad I didn't give up and this is one of my favorite Capcom franchises (plus the thousand of dollars I threw at Capcom with merchandise lol). Tigrex is right up there as my fav monster with Jinouga, Nargacuga and Valstrax. This was an awesome video and I'd love for you to make more in the future. Thank you and happy hunting!
Ahh... While I was playing, I went with the quest sinking feeling. I find it weird at first over to why the paths are blocked. Then the cutscene with the Popos. I was very curious what the heck is happening till I realize a massive wyvern pops out of nowhere and roars and the fight began with running the fuck out. I decided to fight it but it was too op.
It's interesting to see MHW introducing so many new monsters. I honestly thought they would recycle a lot more. I'm sure we will get some sort of "Old Favorites" Type of DLC where the most popular old monsters that didn't make it into MHW from the start are gonna get implemented. Tigrex, Zinogre maybe even Lagiacrus or the Hermitaur :D
Also Zinogre is all in all just a cool monster. Great design, cool wolfy armor (skills can be meh), and easily one of the faster paced fights in all of Monster Hunter, especially with all the chain combos it does of different moves that it has. Also who doesn't want a Chopper motorcycle for a gun! And a fucking guitar to smash with.
My fav monster ever. I remember how hard it was to beat it and how happy I was when I finally did. A few days later I could take on two at the same time. Monster Hunter - what a brilliant game!
Tigrex was the very first wall i encountered in my first monhun game. Holds a special place in my love/hate gland. Tigrex is also when I first learned that dodging towards the monster can be better than trying to keep your distance. Thank you tigrex for cementing my obsession with monhun
"we're gonna be doing a season pass were we gonna be releasing quests were you hunt flagship monsters from previous monster hunters on Monster hunter world for only 29.99!" - capcom 2017
Tigrex has always been my favorite monster. I started MH on Freedom 2 and I felt like a real hunter when I finally solod him. I hope he makes a return in World cause I would live to see how he fights in the new engine. #Tigrex4World
The first monster hunter game I owned was on psp (freedom?). Saw the Tigrex on the cover and thought “this game must be cool”. Fast forward an hour or two and im banging my head trying to figure out how to kill this thing (low level mission where it pops up. Was unaware that I didn’t have to kill it to complete the quest). Literally fighting this when someone stole my psp from my hands in a Win-Dixie parking lot. Was sitting in the car with the window slightly cracked. Even longer story short I eventually got it back and fell in love with the franchise. Most memorable event in my gaming history. I chased down a speeding car and got the license plate number for this game. It will always have a special place in my heart.
I used to love in my first games and beyond how Tigrex was always the signature monster at the start of the game, just after finishing the tutorial. I learned a harsh lesson in not trying to kill the tigrex with my starting armor in MH Freedom Unite and Freedom 2. Always a fun monster to fight because of it's simplicity mixed with difficulty.
Tigrex was a wall that my teen self could not overcome, I went back to to the game years later, after yrs of playing newer monster hunters and took my revenge
We need more like this Gaijin, a series telling every monster background, not right away of course, keep it up, waiting for your mhw videos, once the game is available of course...
I have no idea why, but I think Tigrex is the the cutest monster in the game. Something about the noises it makes, all of its animations when it’s tired or when it’s taunting you. When you cut of it’s tail it shakes it’s head like "nuuu you meanie". It’s so cute! Then again I also think White Fatalis with his floofy beard would be great for a hug, so maybe I’m the problem here...
After hearing that roar at the end of the icebourne trailer veterans know that was indeed the roar of the tigrex but were not a 100% sure we’ll know after the release of icebourne in the future
The Tigrex is far and away my favorite monster. I remember playing through MH4U (The first game I really dug my nails into) and coming across my first Tigrex. I loved the design instantly, and had seen pictures of it before but it's wasn't enough to warrant favorite monster status. Instead it was it's wild and kinetic movements and loud personality that won me over. I was honestly laughing my first time fighting one cause I was so enthralled by how crazed it was. How it flailed about as it barreled towards me like it couldn't completely control it's own hyperactive body,. After that I was in love. I even own two Tigrex plushies, a regular one and a molten one. It's going to hit me hard if it's not a part of worlds.
Tigrex was legitimately my biggest fear in MHP2 back in the days when I was playing an MH game for the first time. Defeating it felt like such an accomplishment. It was truly a great flagship for MHP2. (Now it is indeed a cute creature to me lmao)
There's a good chance that Tigrex will appear as the apex predator of whatever ice area is going to be in MHW. Here's hoping. Tigrex is currently 2nd on my personal favourite monsters list, and so I'd be really happy if he made the cut. As for what monsters you could cover next, how about going through all the flagships? They're generally the most iconic monsters in the series, along with the elder dragons.
I loved this type of video Do this more often please!! Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing any of these monsters for the next but I would like to see a Rathalos one because he's my favorite
Tiggy-wiggy! So glad to see my second-favorite monster get a feature! To me, there's just something so awesome about Tigrex's simplicity. "How do I beat this little guy smacking that stick on my head? I know, I'll run him over!" "Well, he's pretty far away, so trampling him might be obvious... I know, I'll punch the ground so hard, I fling a boulder at him!" I think it's pretty safe to say that, if for some reason Pickle doesn't make it into MHW, Tigrex is absolutely a prime candidate and/or substitute. Seeing Tigrex showing his being a "Hunter" of sorts would be so amazing, as you run for your life throughout the map, heh.
Tigrex in MHW would be great, can't wait to see more of the monster lineup. You should do a feature on Lagiacrus, being the flagship of Tri and being one of the first and main underwater monsters encountered.
I've got a Tigrex story. I was really excited to get this new Monster Hunter game, with it being all big and open and stuff. I kept thinking to myself, wouldn't it be great if Tigrex was here. I never found Tigrex. There are rumors that if you listen just closely enough in certain parts of the recess, you can hear the faint and distant roaring of a Tigrex in distress for not being included in the game.
freedom 2 was my first monster hunter. still remember being stuck on khezu as well as that quest where tigrex ambushes you. so for me tigrex is THE flagship. love it
Freedom 2 was my first game in the series, and I played it back in middleschool where the Kut-Ku was my greatest opponent. Needless to say every encounter with this thing was horrifying to me, and taking it down for the first time is one of my proudest moments as a gamer. It is also by far the monster I have hunted the most. Its funny, whenever I fight the Tigrex in any newer games I feel like I am sparring with an old friend. Oh yeah then there is dual Tigrex. All I can say about that is that I want three months of my life back.
I've recently fallen in love with Tigrex. I didn't really know what to expect when I first heard about it, but after fighting a few of them, I started to see what a complete goofball it is, just way too cute. It's the charge and the super slippery scamper it does as it changes directions, like a bearded dragon trying to run on a hardwood floor. Fun fact: Real life tigers have a roar so strong that it can actually stun and hurt animals with sensitive ears at close range, so Tigrex is actually more tiger than you might think!
Tigrex has been my absolute favourite ever since I first fought it. The way it lunges at the hunter with such manic desperation made me feel the monster's great energy to be sad and misunderstood. I would be really disappointed if it didn't appear in MHW.
I love how Tigrex's head movements are like a big dumb bird. Mouth agape, look to the left, tilt head, in a u shape action look to the right, tilt head again, head back to the middle, and OM-NOM-NOM-NOM!!! P.S. Would love to see Nargacuga next!
I remember the first time me and my friends fought tigrex. It was in MHFU and it was the desert map. We all stood at opposing corners of the map he spawned and would instantly leave the map when he charged us (while screaming our lungs out). Then we would reenter, land 1-2 hits and then leave again. Cheap way to win but it is a memory that still stays with us even 6 ish years later. And let's not forget about the double tigrex G rank, rank up hunt quest in the snowy mountains. Fuck that quest
Tigrex scared to me the point where I forced myself to be a Gunner. Eventually I grrw out of that and took time to learn more about monsters ins and outs with other weapons.
While I love how many new monsters will be in world, I feel like we still need to have the return of some staple monsters like the Tigrex, Zinogre and Brachidios. Hopefully we may get to see that one trailer that will showcase their return, but until then, we can only be patient as we are about 75 days out from world.
Hey great job on the vid, I would love to see more of this flagship monster coverage along with more in depth look of the flag ship book!( kinda like how your famatsu vid format) anyways, keep up with the great content ! Ps, personally I want to see zinogre
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was my first monster hunter and the chill I felt that time when I thought it was just a simple gathering quest.... Tigrex is my all time favorite monster!
T-grex or Tai-grex.
the greatest pronunciation debate ever. D:
NCHProductions
I’m team Tai-grex!
NCHProductions or you could pronounce Like it's spelled...
TIG-REX
Tig like Tigger from Winnie the pooh
And rex like T-rex
but that would open a can of tigers
Tigers
Tig-gers? tai-gers?
D:
NCHProductions in katakana it is written “tigurekusu” so its t-grex

Lol dumbass
I'll never forget the first time I got carted by this guy's roar.
Fun fact: Tigrex (and Rathalos) also appeared in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
It was fun shooting Rathalos and tigrex with assault rifles and rocket launchers. I laughed when I saw Neko and Snakes reaction when he talked.
What about Gear Rex? Kreygasm
Yeah, those secret hunts were epic!
''Ok, lets go Trenya.''
WHATCH OUT THERE'S A VELOCIPREY NEARBY
Tigrex holds a special place in my heart. He was my first wall as a hunter back in MHFU when I was just a kid. I spent several days trying and failing. Rock_spideR
That's what happened for me with the Rathalos in 4u
Rock_spideR nothing tops off beating a 7 star Shagaru Magala as your first monster kill... But Good job on beating a Tigrex, I found it harder!
Finally on his way to world!! 😄 Now lets hope for Zinogre!

wait for zinogre now seregios and Magara too !!! 1 month away from now !!!
good news
Both in iceborne btw
Ahahaha

Imagine seeing tigrex in monster Hunter world, he would literally be destroying the environment around just to get to you
Chris Barrera literally.
Tigrex,, Rajang and Deviljho. Welcome to hell.
would be the most epic hunt ever.
Nido Hime "welcome to g rank"
I remember one of the openings of Monster Hunter chasing a hunter carrying a large ruby stone or something. Yeah if he was in world that cinematic would be real.
I want so badly to see Tigrex in MHWorld
improvcomedy14 i dont. Do you remember him in the opening vid in freedom 2 or mh4? He goes rage mode theres no escaping. Can you imagine tigrex chasing you all over the map.
...that's WHY we want it in there.
I want him in world cuz he is cool but i dont cuz he is annoying to fight against
They could just be saving him and other monters for the G Rank expansion but who knows.
+phillipfavors2001 since it seems world is going to add a bit of verticality i think tigrex would be great for it. its in the previous games as well but think about tigrex climbing a cliff like a bat out of hell coming for you. as well as knocking you off ledges like a pro
I hope they added Rajang, and Jho a.k.a angry pickle. So we can cry together, both veterans and new players.

Or we can be like the Godzilla movie and *let them fight*
its murder pickle, bruh
I beat both Rajang and deviljho first try
with 2 faints admittedly
solo (I didn't know there was online yet)
furious Rajang is a pain though
JayDeeJay Wow bruh you're a god! Much respect!

Me: okay it's big so what?
Tigrex: *sees me* I'm coming for that booty.
45 minutes of raging later:
Me: WILL THIS THING JUST DIE?
Tigrex: *flees to nest*
Me: Alright it's heading to its nest, I'd better fol-
*timer runs out*
Me: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK.
before they added the taunting, tigrex had so little openings it was ridiculous
Yeah, but gunners had an out, which if abused made it much easier to deal with. Area 6 of the Snowy Mountain has that elevated area(between the paths to 5 & 7) which if you were on, Tigrex would only attack from a distance via the boulder throw attack(which could be dodged via strafing). So you can just sit up there whenever it's in 6 and safely attack him. First gen Desert, Jungle, Swamp & 2nd gen Volcano all had areas like that that could be abused.
oh man you sir just gave me nostalgia. those psp days were the best
Now I want to see a monster feature for Lagiacrus
i agree
dude same
1:40 Wait, does that make Rathalos The Lion King?
athroughzdude yeah xD
The circle of life 😏😏😏
Then Silver Rathalos must be adult Kimba.
athroughzdude ii
"Long live the king"
*throws flash bomb/flash pod*,
Just to throw it in there, Sauropods aren't merely four-legged animals. They're specifically a group of dinosaurs known for having long necks and a herbivorous diet. From what I've heard, many of the wyverns are actually lumped up as "Wyvern Footed" - likely an offshoot of the Theropod suborder in which all the carnivorous dinosaurs hail from.
just opened youtube, saw the tigrex, clicked the video
Mücahit yıldırım same
what I liked about Tigrex is that it helped me to master how to use hammer and dodging close range attacks
Actually that’s exactly what happened to me as well!
Molten Tigrex helped me with Charge Blade so much! 20x tries to get a blastheart on Mh4u and worth!
Narga helped me with my dodge game, Pickle helped me with my lance game, Diablos helped me with my Gs game, Rajang helped me with Twinblades.
Twinblades?! What is this, we is Souls nau?!
Tigrex helped me shitting my pants when I first fought him in mhfu
Still have my doubts about that one but it's definitely batter than calling Tigrex a sauropod.
The Brutes more closely resemble Theropods than Tigrex/Narga do, other than the skull of course.... But also not Sauropods, considering the hind legs of Sauros are always longer than the forelimbs.
Does Tigrex fly
You fight with a sword longer than your body that has to be impossible to actually pick up and swing repeatedly against a giant tiger themed wyvern trex with a bipedal cat that can talk.
Logic was surrendered a long time ago, my friend.
Hey man I just wanted to let you know that these videos are really interesting. Not only because you are covering the monsters people like but also the lore and history behind the monster and its design. It really makes the hard work by the designers be known and we'll also know more about the process from your translations. Great job keep it up proud of ya
"[...] for a decade [...]" sh*t I feel old right now.
My introduction to the series was MHFU, and though there might be harder, more aggressive monsters in later encounters, I had gained enough confidence and experience to keep my mellow by that point.
It would be very cool if lagiacrus or brachydios could be the next one
Fucking Sauropods replaces most theropods as Top Predators, Lmao
Daniel Martin Quote "Most" not all and what I meant is that Sauropods replaced most Theropods in Monster Hunter
HE'S IN MHW ICEBORNE!!!!!
Gaijin Hunter: "man wouldnt be cool if this monster was introduced in World?"
Capcom: *announces Iceborne*
Gentleman Gamer its sinking feeling
It's interesting to see MHW introducing so many new monsters. I honestly thought they would recycle a lot more. I'm sure we will get some sort of "Old Favorites" Type of DLC where the most popular old monsters that didn't make it into MHW from the start are gonna get implemented. Tigrex, Zinogre maybe even Lagiacrus or the Hermitaur :D
Tigrex is great...but, one word...
..."Jinouga!"...
#Zinogrenextplease
Alex Weis in my opinion I think zinogre has a high chance to return in MHW because environment and fanged wyverns family
@@cirnovski4695
Also since body types are recycled in monsters, Odagoron is also a large canine dragon with a similar though more sleek build.
Tigrex is my all time favorite! I personally collect all tigrex-anything! Even had him tattoed! Thanks for this feature :)
So tigrex confirmed for iceborne. See you in September:)
Its will be my first time fight tigrex any tips?😅
@@jackoff5704
1. Hit the tigrex
2. Don't get hit by tigrex
well, to be fair if you take the wings off the forelimbs you basically have a giant angry Ludroth
That drawing from your daughter is super adorable and quite accurate. ^_^
I'd love to see more of these! I love the little history snippets for all the monsters that I'm hunting.
Thanks for the essay style video on the tigrex, I cant wait for more vids like this
I really hope that every monster feature has a picture from Yuna.
The attention to detail is stunning, which is why you can look at this monster and actually kind of feel that it's a plausible, real monster.
My fav monster ever. I remember how hard it was to beat it and how happy I was when I finally did. A few days later I could take on two at the same time.
Monster Hunter - what a brilliant game!
If the official encyclopedia lumps this guy with Larinoth, which is actual sauropod, my faith in MH is gone
YES, MONSTER FEATURE IS BACK :DDDD
Tigrex was the very first wall i encountered in my first monhun game. Holds a special place in my love/hate gland. Tigrex is also when I first learned that dodging towards the monster can be better than trying to keep your distance. Thank you tigrex for cementing my obsession with monhun
"we're gonna be doing a season pass were we gonna be releasing quests were you hunt flagship monsters from previous monster hunters on Monster hunter world for only 29.99!" - capcom 2017
Or Gore Magala! That effect when the sky turns to black and white when it turns to frenzy state is just plain awesome
Love the video, parts of it gave me chills thinking of all the good times I have had fighting this monster with friends.
The first time i saw him was in Unite. it truly was a rememerbale experience :3
MH4U was my first game, so when I saw him in the opening intro, I thought to myself, "he might be hard to fight
HE WAS (and still is)
I used to love in my first games and beyond how Tigrex was always the signature monster at the start of the game, just after finishing the tutorial. I learned a harsh lesson in not trying to kill the tigrex with my starting armor in MH Freedom Unite and Freedom 2. Always a fun monster to fight because of it's simplicity mixed with difficulty.
How befitting a Tiger King(Tigrex) opposing the Lion King (Rathalos,Leoleus).
Tigrex was a wall that my teen self could not overcome, I went back to to the game years later, after yrs of playing newer monster hunters and took my revenge
Molten Tigrex is one of my favourite monsters, so huge and impressive!
It is so cool that they finally teased him for monster hunter world iceborn!
Then there's the new trailer showing Tigrex taking over the Rotten Vale....
Molten Tigrex is still one of my favorite fights. He starts off slow then the fire lights and he becomes a savage. Such a good hunt.
This is awesome. I hope it becomes a continued series!!
I really liked this. Hope to see you do a whole catalogue of mons. Great work.
I missed this type of videos... Zinogre please :3 Amatsu is my favorite video so far, such detail even in its soundtrack.
I always wondered about that taunt after the double jump, it's always been so reliable and helpful to hunting it.
You HAVE TO make more of these. I thought the narcacuga would be the last, i'm soooooo happy To see more :)))))
I love your channel. Thank you for these videos and your translation videos.
Tigrex is my favorite! Very happy this video exists :D
I loved this type of video
Do this more often please!!
Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing any of these monsters for the next but I would like to see a Rathalos one because he's my favorite
probably a less popular choice but I'd love to see a feature on the Seltas and Seltas queen! Their dynamic is just really entertaining to me.
Tiggy-wiggy!
So glad to see my second-favorite monster get a feature! To me, there's just something so awesome about Tigrex's simplicity.
"How do I beat this little guy smacking that stick on my head? I know, I'll run him over!"
"Well, he's pretty far away, so trampling him might be obvious... I know, I'll punch the ground so hard, I fling a boulder at him!"
I think it's pretty safe to say that, if for some reason Pickle doesn't make it into MHW, Tigrex is absolutely a prime candidate and/or substitute. Seeing Tigrex showing his being a "Hunter" of sorts would be so amazing, as you run for your life throughout the map, heh.
Tigrex looks like he just got out a nuthouse, always chasing player with such fanatic enthusiasm.
There are rumors that if you listen just closely enough in certain parts of the recess, you can hear the faint and distant roaring of a Tigrex in distress for not being included in the game.
freedom 2 was my first monster hunter. still remember being stuck on khezu as well as that quest where tigrex ambushes you. so for me tigrex is THE flagship. love it
I love the Tigrex, he was my worst enemy back in my childhood.
All I can say about that is that I want three months of my life back.
sometimes, simplicity is the best, and Tigrex proved it a lot
My Favorite Monster and the flagship monster of my first monhun game!
This was actually pretty cool! I'd love to see a video about the angriest pickle: Deviljho!!
Dev: Wanted a monster thats ez to understand
Tigrex: ↖️↘️↖️↙️↘️↙️↘️↗️↘️↖️↗️↕️↔️↕️↔️
I remember the first time me and my friends fought tigrex. It was in MHFU and it was the desert map. We all stood at opposing corners of the map he spawned and would instantly leave the map when he charged us (while screaming our lungs out). Then we would reenter, land 1-2 hits and then leave again. Cheap way to win but it is a memory that still stays with us even 6 ish years later.
And let's not forget about the double tigrex G rank, rank up hunt quest in the snowy mountains. Fuck that quest
I LOVE the Tigrex. Top favorite Monster.
Probably my fav monster. Just pure, simple, mesozoic fury.
Shoutouts to 4U making its introduction to the player while being frenzied
Tigrex was my first Wyvern... Still one of my favorite designs.
Tigrex scared to me the point where I forced myself to be a Gunner. Eventually I grrw out of that and took time to learn more about monsters ins and outs with other weapons.
Love the video. Would really like to see more of these!
While I love how many new monsters will be in world, I feel like we still need to have the return of some staple monsters like the Tigrex, Zinogre and Brachidios. Hopefully we may get to see that one trailer that will showcase their return, but until then, we can only be patient as we are about 75 days out from world.
Really good video, super interesting to see how and why they made the monster like it is. You should do more of that !
2G was my first MH game. I remember my 1st Tigrex encounter. Ran like hell from that mountain, abandoned all Popos. Been afraid of it since!!
As the first Monster I ever saw in the series, very glad to see a video dedicated to it!! :D nice one!! (I started with Freedom 2, not Unite)
A weapon built on simplicity made out of a monster who was designed to be simple? How could you go wrong
