Very interesting and enjoyable analysis of a poem I've known for many years. It would have been helpful to me if the text in your video had been a little larger, easier to read, so I could have followed your comments more closely. I was reminded of Paul Simon's adaptation of the poem, from "The Sound of Silence," the S & G album from the Sixties. And of the poet Dana Gioia's biographical video of E.A. Robinson on his, Gioia's, RUclips channel; it's a carefully composed and thorough description of Robinson's life and work. I recommend the video and the channel. Thanks. Will visit you again. Edit: corrections of my mistakes.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll try zoom in a bit more to make the text larger. I started watching the Dana Gioia video, which I wasn't aware of. Much appreciated.
You are very welcome. It's always good to share good news. There are over one-hundred million RUclips channels, so who knows what's still out there. 😊 Gioia does nice work on Wallace Stevens and Baudelaire, too. Thanks, again.
