    That was every kid's dream in the 80's and 90's. I'm 47 with a teenage boy now. The '05 Saleen is a slick ride. I'd like to buy one, give it to my son as his HS graduation gift. All of his friends liberal parents will shit themselves.

    I own a 05 Saleen 946 serial number convertible bought new in 05 my car was 1 of 10 red convertibles made and mine I special ordered with a stroker engine and big brakes cross drilled and slotted wats link on the rear end. I love my car and don’t plan on selling it

    You are pronouncing SALEEN wrong, dude...it is pronounced SUH-lean.....NOT say-lean

    No saleen hood or hood scoops?or spoiler 🤔

      All factory body from Saleen, definitely would’ve been cooler with those parts, but this is the bottom trim line of the Saleen, no super charger either.

      thanks man!! and i understand that, this one had a few goodies but wish the style matched the performance form factory!

      The supercharged 465 HP Saleen S281SC run strong...the car in this video is the base 3Valve non-supercharged car with only 330 HP.

    • @JapaneseMinitruck
      @JapaneseMinitruck  11 месяцев назад

      of course! the owner before the current upgraded a few things on the car for some better performance but i i would take the cool saleen body kit over a stock mustang any day, a supercharged one would be nice too though😅

      It wasn’t meant to be a street performer. It was meant to be a track performer.

    Is there any aftermarket company that makes body parts for these? I need the rear spoiler, tail light cover, all 3 pieces, and both quarter extensions. Can't find em anywhere without paying 1/4th the price of the whole car

    • @JapaneseMinitruck
      @JapaneseMinitruck  Год назад +1

      sadly man the bed cover is the only one i've ever seen like that and the bedsides are hard to come by, i luckily found a set in the internet, a guy in georgia hand makes them, and i've only seen another set of the taillight covers come up once, they are all rare OG 90s parts so they're hard to find and cost a lot if found but you can access the wing by asking around in the some facebook groups!

      @@JapaneseMinitruck I need the parts for an s197 saleen. I eed pretty much the entire tail end. I might just have to make my own as well. I'm good with fiberglass.. but I've never taken on a project as big as the rear spoiler would be. The quarter extensions and tail light covers prolly wont be that bad, but the spoiler would. Guess if im successful and the plugs produce nice parts I may just start making and selling them. Could prolly make a pretty penny doing that too

      yo, I'm so sorry, your comment came under a different video for some reason for me and now it's showing it under their video hahah, I completely was talking about my purple truck in my last comment,

    • @JapaneseMinitruck
      @JapaneseMinitruck  Год назад

      but, I can't imagine it's gonna be easy or cheap to find parts for this either, if you have the motivation and drive to make parts, you totally should, you would probably make a killing and you can upgrade them with different materials like carbon fiber to sell, and so on!
