You can click the image instead of dragging it over, it will apply to the page you're hovering over, then right click and set as background and it will use the "blue border" to fill the page, so everything is still within the lines :3

You and your son have inspired me so much over the last few weeks. I do have some creative skill and have started making my own adult coloring books. Also have about two kid counting/writing interiors I’m working on. I’m being a bit ADHD about it right now lol... anyway - I’m going to make the adult pages non-stop, I think, and then sell unpublished on gum road or Etsy, etc. Thank you for the inspiration and push to be creative and unique.

I think if you upload an interior with colour but specify black & white in the upload process, Amazon will show it as with colour in the 'look inside' feature on your listing but actually print it black and white. End result being unhappy customers.
I have seen that also better directly in black white upload

I do this all the time, I use corel draw to create interiors (just because I'm used to it😊).

I, like you make my interiors in PP and will use a variety of design platforms for the artwork. I feel this might be a dumb question but, why do we want a box in which to put the little Santa or Elf graphic? I have generally just put these "on top" of the lined page. Just curious because maybe I have been messing up my own work, or just been lucky that it appears to have worked, LOL! As always excellent video! Thank you so much! 👍😉
Because some graphics have transparent backgrounds and some graphics don’t have the background dimensions that look right on the page. Also makes the page look more symmetrical.
Hi Paul, could you please create a video (tutorial) about the strategy of amazon ads, such as bidding, when changing bids, how long should run it to get the result, and which one automatic or manual is more useful and,... I hope you get what is my mean. marketing is crucial than other parts now! at least say who has the best course for that, Thanks...

Hi Paul, thank you for putting yourself out there on RUclips! I love your videos and have found them very helpful. I do have a quick question about custom interiors. Canva will only allow you to create 100 one-sided pages. How do you create a double sided page in Canva or will it automatically upload as double sided in KDP? Thank you for your time
It will automatically upload as double sided. Page 1 is the front of the first page and page 2 is the back of the first page etc.

You would need to create 120 pages in Canva.

hi, thanks for the videos. I watch 20+ of them & subscribed. btw, my friend wrote a book in word format, a total of 115 pages & 92 pages. how to figure out how many pages it will be when convert to a 6"x9" size KDP paperback?
You would have to format it into 6x9 pages and choose a font size to find out.

Hi Paul. Just wanted to add that you can make the tracing pages in Canva as well. I do that. There are different templates in the worksheet section you can choose from and also use a trace font :-)

i have a question - canva allows me to create only 100 pages max. how do i create interior pages for a year long planner? (365+ pages?) do I download the 100 pages as PDF and transfer it to Pages (working on MacBook) and then add the rest of the pages there?
You could do it that way or create multiple pdf files and join them together with a tool like simple pdf.

@@paulmarles Great. I love it....better than Canva. You can take a shape and place it over your whole picture, then reduce the opacity to create a filter. And there is a masking tool. ....even a words masking tool. The only thing you can't do is flip the pic.
And if you are really skint, there are ways of masking out the Watermark, although they are such a great resource that you will want to pay!

No, the settings will be the same but it will cost you more to sell.
In power point how do I switch it from slides to not a slide?

Hi. I’m loving your videos and I’ve bought some of your interiors and keywords. I’m severely disabled and also have cognitive dysfunction. My brain works really slowly when it actually does work. Anyway. I “work” lying down on my bed. I become exhausted very quickly. Long story short I can’t use a laptop but I’ve found I can manage to use iPad and iPhone ok. My questions? Can you do some tutorials that only use IPad or iPhone to produce and/or adapt bought templates, covers, download to Amazon etc?
I know this will be difficult for you because the iPad versions of things like Word, excel, etc are much more limited than the full desktop versions.
Please think of this as a new year challenge to help those of us who aren’t skilled with computers or don’t own one but who are familiar with their smartphones and tablets. Hey, there’s an idea for another series of videos. After you look at IPad and IPhone you can do a series on Android

IUt's a dotted font. There is one called Raleway which you can just search for on Google. Or you can purchase dotted fonts from fonts4teachers.com
Paul, can I make your logbook template into a 6x9 format? I don't want it to be 8.5x11. It is possible to re-size it?
Yes, you can resize it. You’ll need to make some adjustments to make it look right.
