Matt loves Call of Duty, so of course when they offered A7X to make songs for the franchise he agreed haha. The band actually had to go to their studio, record live motions with those motion sensing ball suits that you have to wear. Also, Zacky’s guitar says 6661, which mirrored is 1999, which is the year the band was established
@@damendiscoentertainment6874 Maybe you got an answer already somewhere else but just in case, I'm pretty sure you can play as M. Shadows - I don't know hardly anything about COD though, I just remember seeing a video about him recording lines and having a character model and thinking "neat".
the game was cod bo2 and you are right it played after the credits of the campaign and i remember playing the campaign over and over just to listen to this song
Yeah, it is very clever. Not only to make 2 videos and blend then into one. But also a clever way to sell more music, and games all in one swoop. Anyway that's not my business, but seeing, hearing and thoroughly enjoying the whole package is ,my business. Something I've mentioned before, watching each and every nuance of muscular alteration across is the big deal for me. If you looked at us stating "this is total crap", everyone would point shouting "LIAR". It's all there for us to see, and soak in. When you enjoy something, it really show. Remember that opinions are the direct result of emotional first impressions. (Well I think that right anyway).
Cordis Die in Black Ops II is a "revolutionary group", so they're understandably hard on Menendez. 😅 Woods got crippled in the main game, so the gag here is especially funny. This is the ending you get when you have the complete ending to the game. It might actually be the most exposed A7X song, though you wouldn't hear a ton of fans talking about it because it wasn't on anything other than a single until the Black Reign EP. You've just gotta do Jade Helm and Mad Hatter and you'll be done with that. This was Arin Ilejay's 2nd song with the band, and his first after the Nightmare tour was over. It was our first real taste of the Hail to the King era, but it doesn't sound like a HttK era song. It was inspired by Helloween's song Eagle Fly Free, and it's about moving past the human beings who try to keep everyone else under their boots. Very patriotic. 🥰
I feel like I totally remember my little 12-or-13-year-old self being disappointed to learn that Hail to the King wouldn't sound *exactly* like this. I had been into music for a few short years at that point so I probably didn't understand that bands change their sound sometimes, HttK ended up being my favorite album for a long time after that but Carry On was my favorite song.
@@Falkuzrules I've always appreciated it that Avenged Sevenfold's singles and Avenged Sevenfold's album tracks aren't similar to each other. A7X keep me on my toes, and I enjoy being able to experience many things musically. My favorite A7X album's Nightmare, and hearing A7X go from it to Not Ready to Die to Carry On, I'd been immensely satisfied. I didn't enjoy This Means War, Heretic, and Doing Time for a very long time after I'd heard them, though when I listen to Hail to the King, Shepherd of Fire, Requiem, Coming Home, Planets, Crimson Day, and Acid Rain, I love the transition which A7X had made between 2010 and 2013. I'd seen A7X perform live in 2015 with Breaking Benjamin. Reflecting on my experience at that concert, I feel that it had taken place during what had been the greatest possible time for me to see them and for me to hear them.
The call of duty crew made this video btw. You should now react to the "making of carry on" video about how they made this video is super cool. This video is in call of duty. At the end of the game. Also, all the characters are call of duty characters (other than the a7x band members).
Zacky said it was also a way of saying there was a battle of good and evil within him, and the "6661" meant "evil won". I thought "evil one" would have been cooler, though.

M. Shadows was in Call Of Duty Blacks ops 4 aswell, they have a history with the creators of the Black ops series.
You mean the A7X song in the map IX? Or somewhere else voice acting? Cause if that’s the case…then holy shit!!!

this was made for the call of duty game and if i remember right it played at the end of credits after completing the game.

That man that you were asking about in the video was Alex Mason lead character
The year the guitar was made
I bet it was hard for them not having the Rev play drums in this. Mason was the drummer i guess because the rev died.
The video was one of the endings for black ops 2 or maybe it was a ending credit video they made.
If I remember correctly, they were being rough on them in the beginning because they are the main bad guys in black ops 2.
Love the fact that ppl are still rocking black ops 2 in there video and this for cordis die in 2025
React full concert rock AM ring 2011
That older man is Alex mason and he’s mind has been messed with the Russians in the Cold War. So he see that man who disappears in the next clip.
Why syn slap Menendez's head? because Menendez are the main villain on COD Black Ops II #cmiiw
Ya killed or millions if like he said I think he killed over hundred million of people all becuz the American killed his sister
6661 or 1999 is the year the band was formed
That's right
Zacky said it was also a way of saying there was a battle of good and evil within him, and the "6661" meant "evil won". I thought "evil one" would have been cooler, though.
Black Ops 2 was fun.
Bo3 had better multiplayer but bo2 had the best story
