    Thank you. You know it's an absolute fucking joke that bike shops even used those shitty cup type things in the first place. SO glad it's gone to the sealed cartridge type now.

      Unfortunately, sealed bottom brackets can have the same issue. Sadly, if water gets in there and the bike isn't serviced, there lies the problem.
