    Livery came out 🔥

    Man, what a mad dash to get it done! Sounds like it was worth it even with the sleep depravation...we've all been there. Livery looks great and is fun - a few strategically placed "NO STEP" decals and a "DANGER - JET BLAST" at the exhaust would be icing on the cake, at least for now. Looking forward to seeing Doofa Now become Doofa Ever in the future, but no reason not to have fun like this with it along the way.

      Haha great minds, it already has a jet blast sticker on the rear bumper above the exhaust and I have no step stencils for the sills but wanted to fill the holes before putting them on

    That looked like a hard slog till the end mate. Well done.
    I see you have the elusive rear trim panel. How good is that.
    Doofa sounded pretty good on the drive, even with the tractor motor.

      Thanks Owen, and yes have the rear panel in pretty decent shape, lots of the mounting holes have snapped off but it's hard to tell once its in place - very lucky it came with Doofa

    12:30 at night and you want to get some sleep before you leave at 08:00😬.....been there, never works out. Great results considering the state the car was in at 12:30. 👍👍🍺🍺

      LOL, yeah pipe dreams for sure. Glad it got there in the end and I'm excited for what's coming next with it.

    That's awesome Cam, you made it to TITP - Toyotas in the Park. Congrats to your GF (Kelly?) and your mate for helping. I think the livery is cool and very apropos with the bare metal. I had a thought when you showed Doofa without grille and bumper...are you going for stock or is there room for some mods? I could see some sort of modern is front with rectangular lights and and integrated scoop or cowling that would go above a splitter. It would be interesting. Did you get a bunch of comments about Doofa? I was just thinking of my 1997 Geo Prizm and this car is 20 years older! Keep going, you'll be at 10k in no time! Best wishes and thanks for sharing with us.

      Thanks Bob - I actually really like the look without lights too - i was considering a light bar all the way across the opening. Unfortunately it wouldn't be legal here in WA so might have to wait to see what we do with the Shellica.

    Love the look of your celica with the tiger shark graphics. I have a 76 celica liftback and would like to do the same. Do you have a web address for the grasphics and would you know anyone that have the widow belt weather strip (inner and outer) that goes next to the window. Again, Great looking Celica.

      Hi Steven, glad you like the look. The graphics were custom printed by a company in Perth called SignBiz based on graphics I made. That said, the shark graphics were based on some ones i found on eBay and if you're just looking for the jaws then it would be far more economical to get it there. If you do decide to have custom ones printed let me know, happy to share my graphics so you know the sizing will be good.
      As for weather strips I'm pretty sure they're still available new - price varies heavily depending on what country you're in.
      I believe the part numbers are:
      * 68210-14020
      * 68220-14010
      * 68170-14010
      * 68160-14020
      These are just from my notes, i haven't got to the point of ordering myself, so please double check before your order.
      Hope this helps.
