Simms G4Z waders (2022) review: You'll never go back once you try these

I've just updated my eight-year-old Simms G4Z's to the latest model and here is my review after testing them in the field.
The verdict: once you try these foolproof zippered waders you will never go back to standard models. Yes, the G4Z's are expensive, but with the extra layers of GORE-TEX and the quality of the zippers and neoprene feet, these are a pair of waders that will last a decade or more. I love them! No more wrangling with harnesses just to relieve yourself ... and they never leak. Comfortable, durable and breathable - this is as close to perfection as you will get in a pair of waders.

Is the zipper salt proof?

Great question. I can't find any specific guidance on that, but personally I'd be comfortable using it in salt provided you rinse them off after every use in saltwater, which you should do anyway from the fabric's perspective
