Great video. I'll look forward to the next one. Where do you get the coins from. As I go on ebay and they sale more then the face value. Any help is appreciated.

It’s brilliant you are doing this and as you are settling a debt it’s an entirely legal way of getting rid of these coins. I think it’s bad they are being sold as legal tender on the royal mint website but then if you try to bank them you are not allowed. Does this mean I could settle my credit card in the bank with these as I am settle a debt or would the bank still turn me down? What’s the legality there?
My local pub gave me a commemorative coin in my change....it was a 50p piece denotinting the 70 years the queen's service to us.....God rest her. So now I have explained that if that's the case then other coins should similarly be accepted across the bar aswell. Of to ebay I go !
Would you personally accept these coins as payment, say you did some gardening and laid a new drive would you accept and be able to bank £500 worth of them?
Why on earth was a customer ringing the Police? I thought it was that nosey woman. Last thing you need is nosey parker busybodies inserting themselves in it
Hi Julian, just out of curiosity, how many of these coins do you have? Are you also a collector like myself? Apologies for my 75 pence coin sarcasm on the other vid but not sure which coins im interested in to be honest. I do pay attention to the 50 pences and have purchased many of the silver proof ones in the boxes in the square cases. Beatrix potters and paddingtons etc. Would like the Gruffalo as building collection for her for when she grows up. I also have the snowmen ones which is interesting as i am sure the shops would accept these should i spend them. Appreciate your content and get your point. Loved your vids over past few weeks. Keep it up.
@@julianchamberlain5399 i dont expect you to provide much detail but spending silver proof 25 pence coins face value... am guessing you get them cheap?
Nice clean interaction, not like some of the other petrol stations you've paid at before. I really should get out and spend my £20 legal tender commemorative coin now that the petrol prices are still quite high.

Try it with someone that doesn't have the concern of their status of a citizenship to deal with as an additional factor. A new or wanna be citizens are less likely to cause a legal fuss. Also, unless they are the direct owner they won't care if their company loses money in the transaction by not being able to reuse the coins.
The problem with written "Laws" as it were (When refering to Acts and Statutes) they are not Laws as it were. God's Laws, Natural Law, Universal Lore or Laws reign supreme. But you're right even in the scope of what is written there is deviance based on individual biases which is one of the reasons written "Laws" are extremely dangerous, because humanity is inherently dangerous. The very reason we have a police state and a terrorist organisation masquerading as proponents of "Law". Upside down world in the end times, it was to be expected. There is one fit to judge, there is no jurisdiction outside of this scope.

Be interesting to see how things work out What with Charlie being King now Will they change all the money? Will they change what is legal tender Or will we get the cash less society people keep banging on about even earlier.? A wonder how this will play out
Probably printing notes and coins as we speak. The " Old" notes and coins will continue, then slowly taken out of circulation as they wear away. Will take years.
Hi Julian if I created a clickbate video using your content, would you prefer me to email it to you, so you can upload or would you be happy for me to upload it on my channel. I'm hoping it'll bring more attention to your channel.
Hey there silly question but what happens now with them coins 🪙 now the queen gone plus will they still work and will the king new rules to get his head on the coins for the old ones not to work im confused with that now hes king
They will remain legal tender. This is a common question due to how Queen Elizabeth II has been the only Monarch to appear on coins when the money became decimal in 1971. When she became Queen in 1952, we were still using pre-decimal coins. The coins from George IV, George V, Edward VIII and Victoria were still used and legal tender, all the way up until the respective coins were phased out for decimal day (Or 1990 for the shilling/five new pence + 1992 for the florin/ten new pence), the only changes in the coins were some of the reverse designs and the portraits of the monarchs. (and changing silver/copper content in some coins) This meant that up until 1990, you could spend a shilling coin with the portrait of a long-deceased monarch on it, and it was perfectly legal tender - with the same dimensions, weight and value as five new pence (1/20th of a pound)
Nice to find somewhere who didn't go nuts with wasting police time etc! Kudos to this sensible garage!

Can’t wait to see King Charles III proclaim some new coins with his face on for use as legal tender throughout the United Kingdom.
We have had charlie on our notes for quite a while already
Are these places going to refuse to accept any of the new currency because the face has changed on it and they’ve never seen them before?

Pre-decimal coinage you could find & use coins dating back to early Queen Victoria (young head) in circulation...
Five Royals...
What's going to happen with the coins with regards the passing of the Queen
That was my question 👍🏻😊
I do hope they don’t use it as an excuse to go ‘digital’ as the implications would be enormous if they have control of everyone’s money.
Still legal tender but all new notes and coins from now on will have King Charles the Third on them.
