That’s what you call a miracle, that driver was coming down a small down hill with a loaded truck and no matter what anyone says he controlled that truck. The vineyard haven truck ramp . Thank god no one got hurt,I have dear friends on that island.
Driver did the best he could & kept a pretty cool head- especially when he had to swerve in traffic around other vehicles! I'd have frozen. I bet he felt awful when the adrenaline wore off. It's been almost a year, I hope he's doing OK & working at a job he enjoys, regardless of what it is.

Don't listen to your GPS Driver! DRIVER FAULT. No Pre-trip, poor maintenance. Blame it on the brakes??? Hmmm! Maybe co-driver error, bugs on the windshield, watching the illegal migrant ladies. Jake brake not working, tried downshifting but won't go in lower gear cause rolling too fast. Had fight with wife night before. Time to dry dock the truck and fix that air leak, new brake shoes, and look for a new job!.
Brilliant driving! That man deserves some kind of award for the way he managed-- assuming he's not the one responsible for the bad brakes.
