Civic Racing Series - 2022 CACC 1 Race 2 | Mission Raceway | Battle with Zero | 4-23-22

After nearly everyone, except 1 person, missed pre-grid for some unknown reason (early call?) the starting positions were wildly scrambled, and I was positioned at the rear of the field. I made an awesome push through the field by turn 1. Our sister car, 022 driven by Crescent Kao, who was also forced to start in the back, made an aggressive charge through the field, as well. After 2 corners, starting 9th and 10th respectively, we entered turn 3 in P2 and P3.
We battled for most of the race as 022 began to experience drivetrain issues. With clever defending and driving at about 110% capacity, he was able to keep me behind him. But with a ill-fated braking dive by yours truly, we had some "light" contact.
What a race and what a drive by 022. I took notes.
