Good one I have been using primacy 4s on my Crysta 2.8zx around 2 years. The previous ones were Bridgestone turanzas 215/55/r17, those tires were not good for a heavy MPV like the Innova, after 3 years I got these but 225/55/r17, the tire is softer and has excellent performance on wet conditions on Highways, the Bridgestones used skid and we're harder.
@@aayushbhingare2279 sir I needed to ask u a question My cousin has a innova z variant 2021 variant. So should we need to change the tyre, because we have heard that previous crysta with 17 inch had bent on alloy or any other problems on 17. We drive a lot in a day because our work is like that so maybe we face rough roads and all. So bit scared on the 17 inch one.
@@_Ashii89_ there are no issues with the wheels, but just that for a MPV that weighs almost 2 tonnes the side wall is a bit low, just get the 225/55/r17 Michelin primacy 4. Great tire. Also pls. Be careful when you put it through bumps and potholes, since these are major factors why the tire pinching happens.
I am having Creta Sx 2017. My usage is mixed - Highway, broken roads, under construction roads and bad road. Currently I am using JK UX ROYALE. I am facing very rough ride quality on highway. What tyres do you recommend for softer and comfortable ride for my road condition?
The comfort will reduce and you will feel more road feedback. But on the other hand ride will be less bouncy and handling will improve. So decide what matters more. If it’s a family car I suggest stay with stock size !
I have upgraded my EX variant with Alloys and JK UX royale and I feel the comfort level has reduced. As you have used JK, Continental and Michelin. Please need your comments on the comfort level improvement between JK, continental and Michelin
Michelin has the best comfort out of JK, Bridgestone, continental. Upgrading to bigger rim size does hamper the comfort level. JK is also decent for comfort. 215/60 is the best profile for 17 inch alloys for comfort. I changed JK as the quality of tyres of JK is not best in the market.
I feel the comfort in highway is still good with JK but, now I started to feel the median strips which reduces the comfort level. That's the main reason I wanted to check the comfort in Michelin or Bridgestone or Continental.
Hi bro . In my xuv 3oo 215/55R17 hai. Can i upgrade to 215/60R17. Bcoz offroad performance is not so good with 55 profile. aur wahi same thak ki awawz aati hai jaise koi immediately khada aa jaata hai ya road pe jo sharp speedbrakers hote hain .
60 profile se comfort to increase ho jayega, and I think upgrade bhi ho jayega, just make sure it is not touching and body part. Try kar ke hi pata chalega, I don’t have exact knowledge for xuv300
I checked with a locally reputed tyre shop to change stock JK to Michelin .... The price difference is 11700 minus 4500 per tyre = 28800 for all four tyres ... Is this justified?
If it’s a new JK tyre, then you should get option of something around 25 K. In case your tyre is not new and you have used for few kms it depends on the condition.
Good, informative video. Was looking for such specific insight on tyres. Would like your advice on a similar situation i am in. I am buying a Skoda Kushaq that comes with 205/55 R17 tyres. The stock brand i am getting is MRF Wanderer. I want to upgrade to Michelin. Some doubts i have if you could kindly clarify. 1. Does Michelin have a 205/55/R17? 2. Do i have to stick to that or can I opt for the 215/60/R17? If so, what would be the difference in ride and handling? Thanks!
The tire profile in Kushaq is unique. You may not get this is profile in Michelin or Continental. You don’t have much of an option. I would suggest stick with MRF tires. Upgrading tire size in both width and profile will be an experiment , you may start to feel the drag if you notice small things !
Buddy I have not used xm2, but from my experience I can say that go for company suggested car tyre profile and your car must be having 15 inch tyres then XM2 is sufficient .
