You took my harbor freight ratchet out of my toolbox! As a diyer I love those ratchets. Never an issue. Another great how to video!!! 👍💯🇺🇲
They work very well I haven’t broken one yet.
To get my bearing on, I throw the crank in the freezer for a few hours and then put the bearing in the oven at like 200F. They fall right in place.
Nice. I’ve thought about doing that as well.
@@StreetersGarage I don't have a press but in the Navy, I had to install a lot of bearings on motors. We'd take over the oven in the galley and do this. Slick as snot. But if you have a press, it's definitely quicker since you don't have to wait.
@@StreetersGarage btw, I just love watching your vids. Always a golden nugget somewhere that makes my work just a little easier.
@@shawnbuckendahl1968 That’s awesome. Thanks a lot!
Thats the real way you do it!
Good stuff Streeter.
Watching you clean the mouse piss out of Walnuts right now. Lol
I just replaced same bearings in my Indy 500 and I replaced both of them not need to take a chance
Good deal!
I'd put the bearings in the freezer for about 3 hours or so polish the crank shaft and that bearing should go rite on
You could do that. Polaris presses them on in the factory as well.
Wouldn’t the bearing in freezer be harder to get on
@@KWAHU93 yes. It would make it smaller due to the constriction
Thought you were going to replace the other bearing also.
Which one?
The one next to the bad bearing
That one was ok.
Ya talk to much
Ok.
🤣
