Lot of useful information, thanks. Really going to have to redo my "temporary" loom properly!

Make half, or all of Friday shop car day I reckon 😎 Give the boys the option of a 4 day week with longer hours on top and you won't even need to pay them to be there unless they want to be to help.
Not without its own compromises of course, but to do anything you have to compromise that time to not spend it doing something else anyway - Taz.

I can't believe this only gets so much views (listens). Are your other podcast platforms visited more? I love that much of your podcasts focus on the practical aftermarket and they carry much tips and tricks which can't really be taught anywhere else!

Cheers mate! We get a bit more traffic via Spotify etc but while it's not 'viral' content, we're happy with it growing steadily and also a regular amount of comments like this from people who are loving it are pretty awesome. Thanks again!
If you want to help it spread further make sure you rate/review the podcast on any other platforms you happen to use as well as the usual thumbs up here etc Gotta feed the algorithms 😎 - Taz.

This was a great talk, thank you! I've been absorbing as much knowledge about motorsport wiring for a motorcycle build.
I've handled a 2-way & 6-way DTM connector before and DTMs seem too bulky for moto use at maybe 4-way and above.
Andre, have you ever heard of/used Deutsch 369 connectors? Great heat & water resistance, tiny, 500 mating cycles, but limited to a max of nine 22-26 gauge wires and with a square profile that may not seal as well with a boot. Not much cheaper than Autosports though and also maybe too hard to source outside of the US.
Matt mentioned the need for a good wire cutter/scissors. A great option is the Miller Model 100. Super cheap, and when cut, I can see and count every strand of 24 gauge spec 55 wire with a magnifying glass. It's also a recommended wire cutter in a TE technical document I read.
An old school stripper that I've used on 18-24 gauge tefzel wire (/16 and /32) is the speedex trig-o-matic. The cutting blades are made to a large range of fraction-of-an-inch sizes and can therefore surround a conductor very closely if you have the right blade. I've also used it on 18-24 gauge tefzel and the stripped wire looks flawless under a magnifying glass. They're not made anymore though so you gotta find an old one in good condition.

@@luism.6363 ever considered jst jwpf, similar form factor to deutch 369 but not quite as high end and much cheaper
