This is a fantastic story. It's really sad to think that one choice made differently could save the lives of Peter's best friend and his biggest hero. And also greatly improve the strained relationships with his friends and loved ones. It just goes to show that keeping secrets from your loved ones usually does more harm than good. If he was just honest with Harry from the beginning they could have worked things out before it was too late.
I don't think that logic applies to super heros bud maybe irl if you're hiding a secret like you're a secret figure skater or sumn from your spouse but not the face that you're a super hero
