oddly enough, this is the type of editing that makes you more $$$ it's "less is more" in full effect. the video shines because they picked a great location with dope cars and wardrobe and the cuts matched the song. everything else is left up to the DP and Colorist for that professional touch. sometimes, just throwing a bunch of random stuff together makes your video look cheaper. it makes you lose money twice. once because you devalue yourself as a director and your price, then again because you spent an extra week on a video that didn't need it, instead of taking on more work.
I believe that tutorial can be work on Premiere Pro too, but a "poor version", not too good as AE but still a good transition. Good Tutorial, has been inspired me a few of times!
if im only familar with premiere pro will this be more challenging or should I just start as soon as i can & get comfortable with it? also yes we need that digital camera movements video!
if I'm using the replace with after effect composition..how do I get my next scene to transition in premiere would I have to make that next scene an after effects composition as well?

A note for anyone thinking your transition looks too fast. I moved down 15 more frames to the left and moved the key frames and it was much smoother!
this fye, couldn’t you just duplicate the masked layer and invert the mask so the position settings are already applied?

You can use linked comps in premiere pro to bring your footage into after effect and they then sync together

right click on your clip in premiere and select “replace with after effects composition” do the effect and save the ae file.
