One of my favorite dunks against Sylvia Browne is when the Ariel Castro kidnappings happened. The mother of Amanda Berry, one of the kidnapped women, went on the Montel Williams Show where Browne told the mother that Amanda was dead, specifically “in water”. In an amazing turn of events and not long after the episode aired, Amanda managed to escape from Casto’s home and alerted the police to him. Not only was Amanda alive, she was also the hero that saved herself, her daughter Jocelyn, Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus. This story is one of the many reasons that I don’t believe in psychics. They’re all just a bunch of con artists, exploiting vulnerable people for financial gain.
Don't know if it's the same case, but Browne had told a mother that her daughter was in Japan in human trafficking. A decade later, the daughter was found alive- but the mom had died of grief before it happened 😢
They have the easiest out ever, just "it only works if you're honest with me otherwise I can't correctly interpret the signals". Mind-blowing that they just take it on the chin and run away.
I went to a psychic fair shortly after I got engaged. I was going through some rough family stuff at the time, and I will admit looking back I did just look "sad" during that time. Seeking guidance from a passed relative, I picked a booth that looked approachable and paid up front (as naive as I was). Long story short, the "psychic" could tell I was depressed, saw my shiny new engagement ring, saw a polaroid photo of us in my clear phone case, and decided that my fiancée was not right for me and that I was making a huge mistake. My friends quite literally had to escort me out of the venue hall and I immediately burst into tears in the parking lot.

Sylvia brown once told a woman that her missing child was dead. The woman was so distraught she died of a broken heart. They later found the womans child alive.
My aunt used to watch those daytime television programs where some psychic would come on and lay down on like one of those fancy sofa, rich people, couches, and close her eyes and claim that she could commune with God and she could go see heaven. I’m not saying religion is wrong or spirituality is wrong or that I know for sure that there’s an afterlife I definitely don’t, but I have an open mind unfortunately there’s people who can’t handle the reality of some circumstances and they feed into these things just for a little comfort.
She's gonna give the same crap she gives other people that catch onto the scam. *"It's not about wether it's real or not. The money they pay me is to give people hope & closure for their loved ones"* 🙄🙄🙄
Thankfully now there's cheaper psychics on Etsy. So you can get closure or comfort and not be in debt. There's a few expensive ones but that's your own decision.
These people take advantage of people in pain and who are desperate for something, anything to either make them feel better or reinforce an already held belief. Charlatans and scammers, it's awful what they do. At least you have made me have a laugh at their failings.
Tbh, I've had psychics recount stories of my brother who passed that they would never have known, with specifics, down to precisely what he said word for word. There are people who, imo, are psychic, but they're not the ones chasing fame and fortune. They've always been people I've just encountered in my day to day who approached me, dropped their message, and left, no money needed. And they have astounded me. That being said, any so-called psychic trying to take advantage of people doesn't have any gifts. They're liars and frauds. I feel so awful for these people who got taken advantage of and hurt. That's completely unacceptable. These frauds are causing egregious harm and should be prosecuted. The fact that they have the audacity to be charging hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars for this is disgusting.
There's a lot of Etsy psychics that are dirt cheap. I buy from them at times and they've always been helpful for my mental issues, although they're more of a base.
Those people are mentalists. They can guess a lot of things just by looking at you. I met one a long time ago and he was honest enough to tell me that he wasn't a psychic at all. Actually, he worked for a computer company. I met him in the bar where I was working at the time. I was 23. He told me my past and predicted my future. Everything was right as I discovered it later in life.
Tbh my best friend in high school is convinced she can talk to spirits. She stopped talking to me after I moved away other than some phone calls out of the blue. She said she was going to be hired on a show as a psychic but couldn’t because of her husband’s work. We would stay in touch with the phone until she started saying maga propaganda and calling me a liberal and telling me who I voted for. She definitely isn’t psychic about that or care to remember our conversation’s because when she accused me of voting for a candidate she didn’t like I was dealing with stage four cancer at 29. I didn’t even vote that time 🗳️ 😅 I was busy trying to meet with a neurosurgeon who didn’t even think I would survive but was willing to try. I’m not going to give up on life if there is a sliver of a chance. She’s over here worrying about voting for the guy she doesn’t like for being liberal who was the reason why I was able to get medical care in the first place… she couldn’t give specifics on why she didn’t like him other than he was liberal. The last thing I tried to discuss with her was the fact that everyone is, the candidate she was supporting is also a *neoliberal* neo = new liberal = liberal. She didn’t like that. I love her but I would never have lied to her like she would lied to me. It hurt to hurt her feelings. She claimed that I attacked her for who she voted for though I never did. I never talked to her about who I voted for. I didn’t even tell her during that conversation. She just assumed and accused me of voting for who she assumed I did. Assuming is a terrible thing to do when you can just ask. She was terribly mad when she asked and I told her I would vote for who I chose the same as her voting for who she wanted. She brought the whole conversation up then said I was the one who started the discussion. She kept yelling until I couldn’t even get a word in and then said I was the one attacking her. Long story short, psychics are grifters and liars. I do miss my friend, I hope she is well and safe no matter who she voted for. I guess that’s the liberal in me.😢 I had to look up the definition.

I'm ashamed to say I bought one of her books for my mom's birthday YEARS ago. That Montel had her on a lot of episodes, it's sick that so many are given a platform on TV. I figure if someone is a real psychic you wouldn't find them advertising, b/c her work would speak for itself. THey are like the people walking around in Victorian cosplay saying they are vampires in New Orleans🤨
I mean yeah it is gross but isn't advertising literally the work showing for itself? Shilling out to show up on a tv for exposure and lies is one thing, but yknow, making ads is to show your product/service-
@@angelbabies7 LOL yup, they go all out. We were walking at night in the French Quarter and behind a few of them on the street. They were detailing to each other what "type of vampire" they are and how they can FEEL things. FYI: it was NOT Halloween, it was during April. 😂🤣
@personincognito3989 exactly...I was in my early teens when I went with my older sister, she happened to be having a show where we were vacationing..ppl were crying and cheering, very bizarre lol
Omg the first one. If you're going face it, you say, "I'm sensing water" and wait for them to respond. Or even "I feel falling, can't breath maybe" seriously.
My mom and her sisters got duped by Sylvia Brown and John Edwards way back in like 1999-2001 My cousin had passed away from a car accident, and they were desperate for answers. The sheer disappointment on my mom's face was enough to make me hate them.
I paid for Sylvia Browne's Pay Per View event where the elderly couple you featured appeared. I also saw the Blair Witch Project and thought it was based on real events. I'm way too naive.
"Like, zoinks, I'm seeing a long meat sandwich.... with lettuce and tomato.... and, like.... pickles...." "Shaggy, we're looking for a helicopter." "Like, maybe YOU are, but me and Scoob are getting a message from the other side, right Scoob?" "Reah! Ree-hee-hee-hee."
The tactic I like to do with these ppl is give them as little information as possible, don't mention any info they can turn against you somehow, don't mention dates, ppl that have died, nothing. I just give them my name & see what they come up with & most of the time, I burst out laughing, cus since I don't give them anything to go on, so they just make shit up. Like this one time, this guy was like "someone you loved very much died" & I was thinking to myself like "uh, no shit, everyone loses someone they love at some point in their life" & when he tried to give me a name, he started going down the alphabet & I just got up & left. If I had this ability, I wouldn't charge ppl for it.
The same happened to me a long time ago. A friend knew a psychic she found very good and gifted me a reading with her. I did the bare minimum : name and birthdate. The woman was very irritated because I just asked her one question about my job. As she shiftet to my love life, I told her that I wasn't interested. She answered : "That's no surprise to me, as you aren't very nice". After only half a hour (the reading was of one full hour), I stood up and told her politely that I didn't want to go on. To this, she said : "You are not playing the game". What game ? The friend who made me this gift was angry... against me, because, as the psychic said, I didn't play the game. After that, I lost that friend...
But the ones doing it for money usually always are I think I've only seen one dude that I knew wasn't lying to me but he wasn't a big dude with a show he did it on the side and he didn't charge much it definitely wasn't all about the money

Why do we have to share blood? 😅😅😅😅
Oh no.. as I clicked on this video I got my 1st ever ad for psychics.
She's gonna give the same crap she gives other people that catch onto the scam. *"It's not about wether it's real or not. The money they pay me is to give people hope & closure for their loved ones"*
🙄🙄🙄
Thankfully now there's cheaper psychics on Etsy. So you can get closure or comfort and not be in debt. There's a few expensive ones but that's your own decision.
I would’ve out the name as Charlie instead of George for the chocolate factory lol it would’ve been too sweet
Too... ''sweet,'' hahaha, nice pun!
I love these!!! Do more of these too Ken! These are just so good to watch and you and Dane are the best!
These “psychics” must not have any sympathy. They just take vulnerable people’s money and tell them anything.
I've never heard Ken laugh like this 😂 love it.
They are bs bro
@@genericamerican7574 I'm so sorry to hear about your friendship difficulty and your cancer diagnosis.

Sylvia Brown had quite a racket going. She was charging $750.00 for a twenty minute reading.
These fake psychic clips are iconic, to bad for them😅
Sylvia Browne was a real piece of work. My idiot mother believed every word, and bought all of her books.
My uncle also followed Sylvia Browne and believed her. She was terrible
Real psychic? 🪄🔮✨ that part is why they keep grifting.
@genericamerican7574 i believe everyone has a "psychic" gift, intuition/gut instincts/hunches are nature's way of giving us a good life GPS system.
I mean yeah it is gross but isn't advertising literally the work showing for itself?
Shilling out to show up on a tv for exposure and lies is one thing, but yknow, making ads is to show your product/service-
Hold up, I believe people would really do that, but... Are people REALLY DOING THAT!? Is Bourbon Street now filled with cosplayers?
@@angelbabies7 LOL yup, they go all out. We were walking at night in the French Quarter and behind a few of them on the street. They were detailing to each other what "type of vampire" they are and how they can FEEL things. FYI: it was NOT Halloween, it was during April. 😂🤣

@personincognito3989 exactly...I was in my early teens when I went with my older sister, she happened to be having a show where we were vacationing..ppl were crying and cheering, very bizarre lol
You need to do more of this. LOVE IT!!
How disrespectful to say it don't matter if they find him. I'm sure it matters to his loved ones ❤
I can't believe you cut the best part!
"Wait a minute. You didn’t disappear?"
"I'm right here."
So satisfying hahaha
Lmao i got an ad about a psychic reading for my midroll
Me too
Sylvia Browne also failed to predict her own death in 2013
It's always best when they come in hot, hot readings are funniest. Cold readings are super cringe.
The reporter who caught psychic lying is like psychic version of Chris Hansen😂
If Ken is the Cinnamon Toast (Crunch) does that make Dane the milk? This channel is a part of my balanced breakfast either way.
If I could send pictures, I would send the sus dog
You quit buying the snake oil and suddenly all the salesmen turn into psychics
Sylvia Browne She would make predictions for every year (posted on her web site). not all came true. She didn't even predict when she would die.

Omg the first one. If you're going face it, you say, "I'm sensing water" and wait for them to respond.
Or even "I feel falling, can't breath maybe" seriously.
14:30 “ Don’t tell anyone. “ 🚩SCAMMER ALERT
My mom and her sisters got duped by Sylvia Brown and John Edwards way back in like 1999-2001
My cousin had passed away from a car accident, and they were desperate for answers. The sheer disappointment on my mom's face was enough to make me hate them.
I paid for Sylvia Browne's Pay Per View event where the elderly couple you featured appeared. I also saw the Blair Witch Project and thought it was based on real events. I'm way too naive.
9:08 it’s BAD when Chris Angel calls YOU fake! 🤪
The first ad was for a psychic reading and I’m dead 😂

Criss Angel taunting the fake psychic had me laughing.
Who knew Cris Angel would turn out to be the voice of reason?

This is the kind of "tea" we all need! Please do more of these with Dane, they're great!
Sylvia Brown! My sisters and I used to make fun of her so hard. Even 10 year old kids knew she was fake. I don’t know how people fall for it.
When people are desperate to know what happened.😢
My great grandma was obsessed with Sylvia brown. It was so annoying lol
$1000 for a rock in a glass of salt water? I'll give you one for only $500
Just in time for my lunch break HECK YEAH
11:59 their special ability failed to clue them in. Their special ability being their eyes didn’t work. Lol
"I'M OLD GREEEEGGGGG! I'm a scaly fish man! Do you wanna see my downstairs mixup!!"
If you are psychic, why do I need to tell you my name. Wouldn't you already know.
If you were psychic why would you talk to anyone. Just make 10 or 20 stock picks and open a charity.
"They ejected him." -Dane 😂😂😂
It's sad that this 'profession' is accepted in society. They either need mental help or a criminal record.
Not all people who can communicate with the dead are lying
But the ones doing it for money usually always are I think I've only seen one dude that I knew wasn't lying to me but he wasn't a big dude with a show he did it on the side and he didn't charge much it definitely wasn't all about the money
