It's a nice car, for sure, but what does this do that an Xpeng G9 doesn't do? It has an insane price of 160.000 euros versus 77.000 euros for the G9 (that's a 52% lower price for the performance version with the nicer interior and air suspension).
If you buy the Mercedes for 83.000 euros more you get a HUD, slightly higher range, rear passenger screens and rear-wheel steering in the Mercedes. But also worse charging speed, worse 0-100 speed, no massage seats in the back.
I would keep 83.000 euros in my pocket, or maybe buy a nice convertible (how about that MG Cyberster?). Seems like a total no-brainer to me. But if you're spending 160K on a car price-to-value probably doesn't really matter anymore anyway.
I agree with you in many ways when you look at the hard specs and features. But I can´t deny how incredible the EQS SUV is. The big battery does increase the price but I can see that the competition in the market is getting much tighter
@@HonestCarReviews I agree, it's a super cool car and I'd like to drive it.
But even in some luxury areas where you would expect the EQS SUV to be the luxury king, like massage seats, it's getting beaten by a Chinese newcomer at less than half the price. That's a bit sad.
