Curious why you went HDR only for the MacBook video and none of your other videos? Can you comment on settings you used to shoot that video vs your other videos? Any difference in capture or only in color space used afterwards? Thanks!
Now the receiver needs to be seperate and re-pairable to other wireless sony stuff. Imagine having multtiple wireless devices and having to find the right adapter
Great review. While it may be a bit unorthodox, it is a good idea. However, it’s not doing a good job with your sibilance. If the mic wasn’t so aggressive with its upper-mid it would probably suit a lot of voices. I definitely couldn’t use it as I have quite a sibilant voice and by the time you start EQ’ing a mic for any tonal indifferences, you’d probably have been better off with a mic that’s immediately more suited to your voice. Great video nonetheless 👍 Cheers, Dave.
Every microphone with multiple pickup patterns is compromised in it's audio quality. In my mind it is a box feature, not something actually useful. Then there is the (presumably non removable?) built-in battery and the price. ..... Nah, I don't like it. Nice video, though! :)
not true, Neumann U87ai has multiple pickup patterns, so saying that it compromised in its audio quality is ridiculous cos everyone know U87 is the standard high end condenser mic in studio.
can this mic use with speaker for teaching in classroom
Can you use the headphones using the reciever wireless usb connected to the pc to record in a daw wirelessly?
The lack of cables is perfect for anything on-camera.
Nice. Expensive. And... scheduled obsolescence. The next model will have an internal microphone recorder.

I went and found the review. He kind of mentioned why in his pinned comment. Looks like he wanted to show off the mini-LED screen on it.

Can this be working with Sony ZV-E10?
Yes

What does it have that Zoom H2n2 dosen't?
So when the battery dies in the future, you have to throw away the mic. -_-
People are selling replacement parts of things like this, you just need to find em.
Awesome & Thanks :)
boya has a system similar to this.
