.296 lifetime BA. Eleven gold gloves, NL MVP and batting title winner in 1979. Two time WS champion. Seems like he deserved more consideration for the MLB hall of fame.
I'm a Yankees fan, but I really loved the 1986 Mets. The Mets were wonderful - exciting to watch. I always thought Keith Hernandez was awesome. He knows baseball & is well spoken. He's a classy guy. ⚾
Keith already was very familiar with Marsha's advice of "Wake up and do your lines" (sniff sniff) LOL. We love you Keith and the entire 1986 roster. Thank you for the memories!!
Gary Cohen made his usual "hate the Drake" joke regarding Rob Drake. Ronnie chuckled but Keith had no idea. Pretty sure he's only seen the episodes he was in. Man, I love Mex!
No Disrespect To Who"s Texting, I"m 58 yrs Ol When Your A New York Fan & Watch Players In 80s , I Don" t Need To Say What Keith"s Nickname Was !!! He"s Alright, When He Talks About The 1996 Yankee"s, It"s After Game 6 He Saw Steinbrenner !!!! They Did"not Play 7 !!! Yank"s Won Series 4 - 2 !!!!....
Cardinals should be trading for and extending Shohei Ohtani. Pitch clock is way too short, I agree with Keith. 15 seconds isn’t enough for sure. Five second buffer.
When Keith played it was the Golden Age of baseball. I can't believe all these new rules. They tried to make the game more watchable but tome it is completely unwatchable: pitch clock, no shift, universal DH, WAR, exit velocity, bat flipping, too many players from Central and South America, multiple uniforms, retired 42 across the board, et al. It's ridiculous.

Best defensive first baseman ever
This man is a great interview!! He’s a walking baseball encyclopedia. Not a Mets fan but love listening to him!!
Love him or hate him, he was always a student of the game. He would be a GREAT manager, but has no interest in the job.
As a Mets fan I’m so grateful I’m able to listen to Kieth daily
We have the best booth in all of sports.

Hernandez is a great interview and he carried it. Doesn't hurt he's been in the media for years now.
protect this man at all costs

"Scott was scuffing!" - LOL. Love this guy.
The best 1B glove ever in the history of MLB.
The great ones. They accept the challenges. Well put Keith.
TJ sporting the David Wright jersey!
It was Buck Showalter that made the 90's Yankee Dynasty .. Not Joe Torre

Love Keith!
This interview could have gone for 3 hours and it still would have been too short
Marty Barrett of the Red Sox was the player of the game in Game 6

Love Keith but who doesn't remember a football field
Keith and I vehemently disagree on the shift and the 3-throw-over rule... Good to know.
😊
It’s great when dudes have baseball war stories and they’re not in the Hall of Fame.
I think I’ll call you ‘almost’

Lol Showalter is a joke. Awful manager.
