- Accelleration test with the Volvo XC40 T5 Recharge Twin Engine plug-in hybrid PHEV. 0-100 km/h in 7,6 seconds (7,3 according to factory). 100-0 km/h took 36,3 meters.

The 262hp become 180hp?
i mean if the battery is dead then there's no electric motor to produce the extra hp , or this is not true , some people say that it will always produce 262 no matter what.
I cannot find any answer on this.
The only thing I found is the driving mode power that gives you the full power ?
So the question is does the T5 plugin produce ALWAYS 262hp?
It is true that even with a flat battery the electric motor still works. But the power to do so is generated by the combustion engine that, thus, will deliver less power to the wheels.
Battery is empty so it's just gasoline?
Its diesel cuz it has LOT gas then gasoline
