I look forward to your future reviews. I appreciate the focus on freeware aircraft and maybe less well covered payware ones as I like to see video reviews of payware aircraft before I buy. One of the things I find annoying however are the dated reviews of planes that worked well for the initial version of X-Plane 11.0 ~11.2, especially payware planes by the Carenado and Alabeo studios, but now have issues with the revised Laminar Research flight model of later versions of X-Plane 11.3~11.4 for which updates are not provided for by the design studio that got your money. It seems that there is no money to be made in fixing flying problems caused by changes to the flight sim model for already sold addons, so it is up to the buyer to figure out how to adjust the ACF file themselves.

Thanks for your comment. You are probably right about the update issues. We seem to be on a constant update path on many programs. I never seem to know whether I have the latest version of a model/utility. Perhaps it's the price we have to pay for flight sim innovation.

@@simmo2sim I think it's more about profits wrt payware models and youtubers doing X-Plane videos. The for-profit design studios want to sell new things to the biggest market and youtubers want new views so the studios focus on making planes for MSFS 2020 and the former XP11 youtubers switch to making MSFS2020 plane reviews. This channel caught my attention because of the excellent production quality of the videos as far as flight sim reviews and the fact it's still X-Plane and not MSFS 2020. Also I think there is a community service being done by concentrating on making reviews for the vast selection of freeware airplanes available for X-Plane, in fact you should find a way to link your videos to the comments sections of the freeware planes, especially at x-plane.org. I certainly wish you every success in gaining subscribers for this channel so you feel it's worth your effort to keep it going.

Hello jayeye2011, Just to let you know that I have been getting your comments regarding other videos but for some unknown reason I have not been able to reply??
Perhaps the RUclips algorithm is playing up or something. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions and I will consider them for the future. I generaly use Ortho4xp for my vids and try to link them as areas the aircraft under review would normaly fly over. At the moment I am working on the Vought Crusader so I have the choice of French or American scenery to choose from. Again, thanks for your suggestions

@@simmo2sim I think since my comments on your recent vid did not show up in the comments system, something is off with RUclips as I noticed recently that when I try to add a web link to the comment YT throws an error and the comment is deleted. Regarding the Crusader, if it is a US Navy livery than you could fly from KNIDS (Armitage Field NAS China Lake) to NLC (Reeves Field NAS Lemoore) or to KNTD (NAS Point Mugu). The flights between KNTD and KNIDS would have been done because both facilities are involved in weapons testing for USN air launched weapons since the 1950's. In fact, even the current X-Plane 11 KNIDS scenery still has F4 Phantom static aircraft even though it should be F/A-18 E/F & Growler and MAYBE F-35C & F-35B which would what is now used by the Test & Evaluation squadrons at Pt Mugu and China Lake CA.

Love your work. I've gone for VR in the end as I love to fly jets or helli's.
