And for anyone who is interested. While playing a game you can click in on both analog joysticks to bring up a new menu screen. With this you can add any game you like to a favorite section. Then you can use this to access any game far faster. And I have to add, when I bring up the menu I am not using the included controllers. I actually plug PS3 controllers into it so that may change the way the buttons work.
@@Moananuiākea Actually I would. I just bought one and after using it awhile I'm pretty happy. True it has some issues, you'll have to make a list of any games you come across that don't work, but there are so many good games here that it's worth it. Add to the fact that you can use any USB controller and keyboard for PC games and it's worth the money. It's cool just to play DS games on the TV and what's even better it that there are a bunch of translated Super Famicom RPGs that never made it over here. The Record Of Lodoss War game is very cool. So yes I'd say it's worth twice the price of a Genesis Mini 2.
Absolutely! I was going to say something similar. $175 dollars is quite a bit of money to pay for a emulation console chock full of major issues. I think they just changed the name and told him it was improved hoping that he'd just believe it and he'd give a better review, like a placebo effect kind of thing. Unfortunately for them, this guy isn't gullible and stupid.
I noticed that under the ports section they have Diablo, which is very cool. I picked up a USB keyboard and it actually works great in the second port with a controller in the first port as a mouse. Sadly when you play it there is no sound at all and when you back out of the game it screws up the sound for the other games. Super Smash Bros causes the entire system to crash. Some arcade games ,like the original Tron, don't work on the Mame section but do work on one of the other ones. So between all three of the arcade options they do all work. Dragon Force for Saturn works fine and that game can be rare, sold my graded original for $1,000,so that's cool. One great thing is that under the Super Famacom there are a ton of translated games ,like Record Of Lodoss War or the Dragon Quest games,so just look at the doubles carefully. They really left out a ton of PC Engine games, Sapphire ECT,so that's disappointing. But overall for twice the price of a Genesis Mini 2 I'd say it's a better choice.
Look! Didn’t even skip a beat! I like what you did in this video. It’s clean and to the point. Even though I don’t buy these devices it’s nice to see you review them. Didn’t even leave the saddle! Attaboy boy homie!
The good thing with most of these emulator consoles being pack with a hundred thousand plus games is that most of the work is done for you in putting the games in, game data already scraped, and controllers are usually preconfigured. Plus most of the arcade games will work if your device has enough power to handle them. The downside is going through and getting rid of the stuff you don't want. IF you don't want Coleco or some other console you can just delete the folders. However when it come to different regions/languages, crappy rom hacks, games that require a light gun, or game you have no interest in playing it can take a long time to delete.
The Console X King is the way to go. This one that you are using, has the S905 chip, has been excised and now installed with the S922x chip which runs the arcade games that would lag, a whole lot better.
I do have one question for anyone that would know. The PC games work really good with a USB keyboard. That's great. But on games that use multiple discs, like Ultima 6 on the Amiga, you need to swap discs in order to keep playing. How do you do that. You can bring up a menu screen while playing a game by clicking both analog joysticks in and maybe it's in there but I haven't been able to figure it out yet.
Oooohhhh I've never been able to get Dolphin Blue to run. But that was on my old setups and I haven't tried in a couple of years. I'm also impressed it runs Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. So this system has that going for it. It's not total junk, but it seems you get what you pay for. I feel like if they would curate the games included, then it would be a decent pick-up for most people. That would definitely put this product ahead of the competition. I almost want to get one if for no other reason than to see how the mediocre controllers actually perform.
The controllers feel cheap, really cheap but really not anything wrong with them. Ive used plenty of crappy controllers and for what these are they are passable if ya got nothing else. But any other bluetooth or usb controllers can be used instead if ya got any.

I honestly don't understand why someone doesn't just make a good feeling box, but install turn to rom forums for a good curated list. If they just just build a slightly powerful system with good organization and real ROMs, they'd probably be really popular.

Did play the Sega Genesis mini 2 for the U.S. and not too bad. Of course I will have a better time with the RPG/Stragety games. Nice that Phantasy Star 2 has a easy mode which I guess there is less enemy ecounters, guess you receive less damage and more money, which is a huge plus. Still wished it had more RPG games on it and other games I can actually play. Maybe someday there will be a way to be able to play more Sega CD games on the system...
@@glorypaxson the only thing is how many of those games would you actually play? 50? 100? I had a disc for chipped xbox with every snes game ever made on. In 2005 for £10 and it ran flawlessly.
You got a point. I think the fact there are duplicates is perhaps to cover there butts in case of glitchy games which there seems to be significant. They figure if a game glitches you can try the duplicate.
The footprint looks like it's a HK1 Box/Vontar X3 with a custom top cover with fan. HK1 is a legit little powerhouse, easily on par with if not better than a Pi4. I use one with Emuelec and it rocks.
It's ridiculous how many dupes are spilled all over the place when they all can be zipped into one and the emulator can auto detect which version you prefer based on your settings.
They just reach out to you, because of the amount of views they had for the free advertisement. They probably saw the amount of units sold that month and used you to get more units sold.
Check out the Amazon listed play station mini console with 15k hacked game core . Bought 2 of them . 100% worth it . 2 due to giving one away to a family member , not due to issues . This unit was the best of 3 units I bought like this. 15k , 20k and 60k game cores I've bought and the 15k ps mini on Amazon was the best-selling over all,
Time and time again, these companies think QUANTITY over QUALITY. Why don't they clean up the menus, remove duplicates etc. Everyone knows that the SuperGrafx only has 6 titles for it, so why put 100's on PC Engine games in there? Also, i couldn't imagine looking through a folder with 10,000 games in it. They would sell thousands more of these with a little cleaning up....
Love your videos, but this did take a while to say "same thing" lol It is nice that you turned it into just exploring more of the catalog, but I'd seen enough by then, it's the same thing in a different box.

Is there a consensus on what the current 'best' retro rom set is? Been using Rick Dangerous' 256gb curated rom set for a few years but not sure if it's been surpassed
Actually I've just answered my own question. Seems Rick Dangerous released an updated 1tb rom set earlier this year with nearly 9000 curated games that I'm currently downloading :)
I'm going to guess yes, as long as MAME is configured correctly. That game doesn't have huge system requirements. I was able to run it perfectly on my old laptop from 2007. Pretty sure this box is more powerful than that laptop.
it's double that on Amazon over in England..£350..about 350 dollars (or 355)..the HiAvenire version 1..this one is not available...not that i'd pay 175 pounds anyway...i bet it's nearer the US price on AliExpress though
Thinking of checking out the system. A little disappointed that Panzier Dragoon Saga is not avaliable for the Sega Saturn list, then again they stuck with lesser games. Curious of what Sega (Mega) CD games the system has. Be nice to be able to play Snatcher, Lunar 1 and 2 and Popful Mail. Not sure I would buy the system. I wish more companies stop having too many duplicate games on these systems and be more trueful to how many games there actually is and if a game does not work properly, either fix/replace it or remove the game then just leave it there.
Sadly Popful Mail isn't on it, neither is Lunar 2. But Lunar 1 and Snatcher both are and Dragon Force for the Saturn is on it. Of course Panzer Dragoon Saga isn't on it but since Sega lost the source code it's never been ported onto anything. It's also one of the harder games to emulate well so no surprise it's not on this. And there are a lot of duplicates true, but a bunch of them are actually translated Japanese games that never came out here. There's a bunch of Super Famicom RPGs that are in English like Record Of Lodoss War, Magic Knight Rayearth,a bunch of Square games and even a Sailor Moon RPG. That stuff alone makes it worth it I think.
Got something like that once and never again but I guess you get what you get with no licensing lol. 2 days before it breaks not worth it and I'm a cattle dog owner so it's not continuous play. Needed something to give me all my games of grid.....went towards the evercade and not disappointed.
How easy is it to clean up the Roms you don't want? Sounds like it would a good device for my kids if it's cheap and easy to delete what I don't want...
So if this is from the company who made x pro . Which I've bought . I don't see the arcade screen with the game we are playing inside that screen . So that's a bonus . More game screen better than less . Still not the best on to get in my opinion and I've bought 3 cores with mass amounts of games .
How do you or anyone feel about buying a "console" like this for the ROMs to play on something like an EverDrive cart. I have an OSCR to rip ROMs, but it is time consuming. Any thoughts?
you shouldn't pay someone to steal games for you. You should be made to do the dirty deed yourself or rip your own roms, or just pirate the ones you have. I don't care. Just don't pay someone to steal for you.
Who knows, might get the Japanese Sega Genesis/Master System 2, if any left and if it is worth getting, sadly the Lunar games will the unplayable since I can't read Japanese, unless I use Google Translate, but that is a bit of a pain, and it would take longer to play...
If you change the emulator on N64, you can sometimes get those games to run that would otherwise have that error screen, but I'm hesitant to do so, cause I've had the game card corrupted by doing so a few times.
I like your reviews but has anyone ever told you that you sound like John C. Reilly as Wreck-it Ralph? Lol sounds cool to me and I like lots of his movies. Hey but I really just want to know which system is the best for emulated games or is it best to just build my own? I just want one great one that plays with good reaction to my moving the controls and moves smoothly. please let me know.
Hi , I just wanted to ask a question. I purchased the Bearway Super Console X2 256 GB with over 100,000 games on Amazon. My question is Bearway the same as the Kinhank version or is it better? Is there any differences?
Can you help me out I bought a bearway hinkank x3 plus like yours I have no sound for games only for the android 9 TV stuff..can u help me how to fix the sound on the emulec
What would be the best retro console for a first time buyer of one. I just don't want to get burned so my price range is 100 to 130 thanks for the help
Hello guys I bought a super console x3 plus processor s905x3 and as the emuelec that comes with it has a lot of repeated games I downloaded another version of emuelec from the Galisteo website and installed it on another SD card, it works perfectly but the front led and the cooler do not Turns on the version I downloaded but the original version works, does anyone know how to configure this?
You seem very knowledgeable in this space, I am not. So ill lean to you on this. If this one isnt the greatest, what is? Like if you had to get what you thought was the best of these all in one units which would you get so I can get the right one. Thanks
I'm trying to decide which one do I want to buy between the super console x2pro or x3 pro.... if you had to choose which one would you prefer? And if there is a game that came on a system like PlayStation 1 for instance and I don't see it on there, is there a way that I could download it on the emulator???
I mean you could have also pointed out that when you got your rom error screen...that it's running emuelec which specifically says is not for resale. The creator does not support these systems and you'd be up a creek for support. I'm surprised when you saw that screen that you didn't immediately identify this is someone else's hardwork being stolen.
I say this everytime people have bad n64 emulation. USE parallel 64 as the core in retroarch so it boots up with it. you can run n64 games at 1080p with 60 fps in almost every game, some games like goldeneye you have to run at 800x600 but still its default resolution on something like the slow mupen64 core is 640x480 and runs at half the speed, but for people going to buy these things get the 32 gig version not 256 gig version. a lot of the space is used up by box art for 50k duplicate games from different regions. the 32gb version actually doesnt have massive duplicates
I built a retropie a couple years ago and i really need a tutorial on how to fine tune jt at this point because i have the different country duplicates too which is annoying, most of the n64 stuff doesn't play, i need games like resident evil 2 to carry over the memory card data i cant figure out, also i cant understand how to get thr arcade games working. Theres gotta be a better way to do that stuff
Look, does anyone have any insight on how to create your own Roms? Not getting them from dodgy websites, but ripping your own library. I still have all of my PS2 games, and I'm fully able to keep it legal and use my own ROMs if I could find out the process.

How do you or anyone feel about buying a "console" like this for the ROMs to play on something like an EverDrive cart. I have an OSCR to rip ROMs, but it is time consuming. Any thoughts?
fine with it as the device is all bootleg
you shouldn't pay someone to steal games for you.
Dude! Is desert strike on it? I can't find that retro game anywhere. I think it was Sega genesis
If you change the emulator on N64, you can sometimes get those games to run that would otherwise have that error screen, but I'm hesitant to do so, cause I've had the game card corrupted by doing so a few times.
Do these have old Arcade games like X-Men Children of the Atom, TMNT- Turtles in Time, the Avengers and The Simpsons arcade game?

Hey but I really just want to know which system is the best for emulated games or is it best to just build my own? I just want one great one that plays with good reaction to my moving the controls and moves smoothly. please let me know.

Thanks
I’m also curious
He'll never say. People ask him this in the comments all the time and he never answers
@@JohnnyLaRue I see that now. Wtf is this guy's deal

I'm trying to decide which one do I want to buy between the super console x2pro or x3 pro.... if you had to choose which one would you prefer? And if there is a game that came on a system like PlayStation 1 for instance and I don't see it on there, is there a way that I could download it on the emulator???

Does this have the Japanese wrestling games like virtual pro wrestling 2
Is it possible to pair PS4 controllers with this system? Or are you stuck with the knockoffs?
So I haven’t seen all your content, but which console based emulator, do you recommend?
Could you say what games are included for 3DO and how well it runs them? Would be a cheaper option than buying a 3DO in today's market.
Where can you just get the software/ROMs and run it on an Nvidia shield?
Are there any Wrestling games on here?
And ring king
I say this everytime people have bad n64 emulation. USE parallel 64 as the core in retroarch so it boots up with it. you can run n64 games at 1080p with 60 fps in almost every game, some games like goldeneye you have to run at 800x600 but still its default resolution on something like the slow mupen64 core is 640x480 and runs at half the speed, but for people going to buy these things get the 32 gig version not 256 gig version. a lot of the space is used up by box art for 50k duplicate games from different regions. the 32gb version actually doesnt have massive duplicates
What?
@@vincentlabella1772 what to which part? lol
How well does the Amiga 500 Emulator work please?
Name of game at 3:33 pls
Is there a list of included roms?
How much is the asking price and do u recommend to me ? Am looking for a console with old and new games like this one here Thank you
Look, does anyone have any insight on how to create your own Roms? Not getting them from dodgy websites, but ripping your own library. I still have all of my PS2 games, and I'm fully able to keep it legal and use my own ROMs if I could find out the process.
Ive been ripping my ps2 games using a normal dvd drive and Imgburn. Its pretty simple.
@@jalmodov7817 thanks, man.
Can you add games?
Your first video was a blow to the business therefore they had to change the name
