      You are welcome! And thank you for taking the time to comment. RUclips is so terrible at comment notifications that I have to stalk my own videos like a full blown creeper 👀. But Im continuously finding comments i knew nothing about, and half the time they are questions that could be answered. I try to respond to everyone because I greatly appreciate people watching my stuff. Its always a great day when others are as impressed as me! Im lovin the Notos. I dont know a single person who owns one, that doesnt love it. Great little rig for sure. Thanks again and have a great rest of the week bud!

    • @renterp

      I agree! It really churches up the rig nicely. Honestly im planning on pulling the parts back off and painting them in a white tiger stripe i think. A little winter camo would look awesome on this thing. It’s surprising to me that it is capable of deliverin the goods at range. With devastating power too. A fine little plinker. For my first piece of Buck-Rail kit, im pleasantly surprised! Have a great week homie!

    I left the gun stock as it came and added a reflex sight which helps keep the weight at a minimum. I put a single point sling on it and set it up for my 10 yr old grandson. He is hitting targets out to 30 yards with ease. This little gun is really accurate and for the money hard to beat. I like the aftermarket stuff from Buck Rail but don't want any weight till he gets a little bigger. If the moderator would have been made removable and had 1/2"-20 threads would have made this Notos perfect but still not enough to complain for 233$ and a 25$ reflex sight! The only PCP I own that really shoots Crosman 14.3 grain HP pellets well and at 745 FPS is this Notos.

    • @renterp
      @renterp  8 месяцев назад

      Absolutely! It really is tough to find a gun at this price point that will keep up with the notos. 30 yards, this thing is a laser beam. It will shoot farther for sure, but it really shines in the 30-40 yard range. A perfect lil plinker and woods walker also. I friggin love my Notos. Always nice to hear others are impressed with it also. It really is a great rig. Thanks again and have a fantastic rest of the week!

      Thank you! I took the Notos out bird hunting with a homie of mine a week or two ago now. It was the most fun Ive had in a long time. The Notos and the 15.89 Hades delivered. Im headed out tomorrow with a subscriber for a squirrel hunt with the notos. Hopefully we get some quality footage. The Buck Rail kit is awesome. Having the ability to put a Bipod or Front grip on, is an absolute plus. Not the cheapest items on the market, but they are of great quality and certainly worth the money. Thanks again and have a fantastic week.

    Really sweet kill at 83 yards Johnny! It's fun to watch the pellets arch in and make the kill. My replacent Notos will be here saturday the 14th as they finally came in at PA. It's channels like your's that keeps these out of stock once the true believers see your videos. Pyramyd and the others should send you your comission checks for all the sales you bring in! Absolutely love the videos I just bought a Notos to because of you. But love a new video on how to attract mouses from out of my house and barn into the yard so I can peg them off.

    • @renterp
      @renterp  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you, and Awesome! The Notos is a fine mouse shootin rig for sure! I recommend trying to find out where they are coming In and out of the house. This may be difficult, but I recommend placing a very small amount of Black Oil Sunflower seeds (my go to mouse bait) on each exterior corner of the house/barn. Like a counted number of seeds at each location. Maybe place 5-7 seeds at each corner of the house just at or before dark in the evening. This will prevent daytime critters (squirrels and such) from eating your “scouting” seeds. You can check it throughout the evening and see if any seeds disappear. But mice are mostly nocturnal so you will likely get all your action at night. Check to see which pile disappears first. Their entry hole/location will likely be close to the first pile that disappears. Once you know where they frequent. Start placing the 5-7 seeds out a few feet farther in your yard. This may take a few days to get the pile out to where you feel safe to shoot. You can also just shoot them at the first pile they frequent if you have a solid backstop and dont risk hitting the house. I recommended establishing a pile near an object. Like a tree, or something they can feel safe hiding near, while they eat. Mice will often grab a mouthful and then retreat to a location of “safety”. If they have some cover at the pile, they may just sit and eat. But finding out where they are entering/exiting the house barn is the most important step. From there is a game of ambushing them. Black oil sunflower seeds work the best for me tho, and super cheap. If you give them too much seed in a “scouting” pile, they will just likely eat and poop in the house so keep your “scouting” piles small. Just a few seeds. But keep the number of seeds in each pile equal so you know if a pile is missing even a single seed. Lastly, be patient. I can go weeks without seeing anything, then get 3 mice in one night. They are as random as it gets. Dont give up, and good luck. Hope you love the Notos as much as I do, and i hope you slay some mice. Have a great week!

      Hahaha Thank you. Very much appreciated. Im runnin the ATN XSight 4k Pro 5-20 on the Notos. Its a bit much, but it records the shots and from this point forward if Im hunting anything other than deer, ill be hunting with the Notos. Its a great rig to tote around and it absolutely will deliver the accuracy when you need it. I also highly recommend the Buck Rail AR 15 conversion kit. The grip/butt stock adapter is like $80 and the forearm mlock rail was like $40. I recommend both, but If you are on a budget the front rail allowing you to attach a bipod is a total must at $40. Fantastic quality so far. We will see how the 3D printing holds up the the cold, but to this point it has held perfectly. Great American company to support as well. Terry is a fine gentleman. Anyway have a fantastic week and happy plinkin with the Notos. Now to stare at the driveway for the post man for the next 5 days…. Good luck bud.

      Also, about the reticle. This particular T shaped reticle is not what I see, when I look through the scope. For whatever reason, this one reticle setting (which is a mil dot reticle when you look into the scope) displays on the video, as a T shaped crosshair. Which is the reason im holding well above the last mark on the crosshair, on the video. Im seeing 8 mils of holds on the screen, but they only display about 4 on the crosshair on the video. This is super confusing, im sorry. But I havent seen anyone else talk about it so ill try and explain it the best ilI can, lol. Now the reticle you see on the screen does exist on the scope settings as an option. So if you want to see that t shaped reticle when you look through the scope, you can and it works quite well for anything larger than a .22 where your poi drop is less. Pellets be droppin fast. So again this reticle does exist for you to see, but also if you use the mil dot reticle for you to see, it will record on the video as the T shaped crosshair for both. Damn now im confused. Hope it isnt too effed haha. Have a good one.

      @@stmcutube also I have been hand pumping my air rifles for just over 9 years. The Notos is very pumpable. I did however pick up a compressor in August and Im not sure why i waited so long. Its not super expensive but also not the cheapest out there. So far tho, its proven to work wonderfully both plugged in at the house, and running off my car battery in the field. I havent done a review on it yet, but thats cause im lazy. Haha not a reflection of the quality of the product. Anyway, its a perfect fit for the notos. Fills in under 2 min, doesnt even get warm in that short period of time, and isnt too loud. It is a GX PUMP CS3-I Portable PCP Air Compressor, PCP Compressor 12V 4500Psi PCP Air Rifle Pump Auto-stop. It is secured by 4 allen screws at the bottom of the grip. Angel, over at Red Corn Outdoors YT channel makes a few different versions of this grip. The one I currently have works with the Buck-Rail Grip Adapter as well. Its pretty secure too. It handles a bipod and the weight of the ATN optic, as well as the Illuminator on the top. • @renterp
      @renterp  9 месяцев назад +1

      Good question. I shoot at 50, 60, 83 and 94 yards. I have cement blocks at those distances with seed piles on them. I also have a 20 yard pile at the back shed, but i havent seen a mouse there since this spring. I usually shoot at those distances during the day but quite often between temperature and pressure changes my night time point of impact can change slightly. Also, I miss plenty. Haha But the Notos really isn’t designed for 50+ yard mouse shooting. Tho it is certainly capable. Have a great week and thanks for the great question.

The prism scope gives you a huge field of view and a nice large reticle for hold over. (something you need when you stretch the legs of this rifle). But the bugbuster is very nice as well.

    The cocking handle is crunchy on mine as well. It's a few days old and put about 60 rounds through it.
