Excellent work, Craig! I like the on-stream adjustments and your explanations. Sometimes things don’t make sense, such as the extra weight even though the water was so low. But if that’s what the trout want, who are we to argue?? Great video, as always.
Thanks for watching and thx for your service! Yes, it would probably help. Being in a stream is very therapeutic! What part of the country do you live in? Tightlines
Fly fishing will definitely put you in touch with nature and God's creation. You're always doing something! Watching for what flies are hatching, reading the current, adjusting weight on your line for water depth. When you get a handle on it start to tie your own flies. Using your creativity and having something to due doing the winter months keeps you busy. The best thing is catching a fish on your CREATION. God bless you, please keep in mind, you are a survivor and God has more He wants you to do in this world.
I was up Friday before Labor Day, and it fished tough. September can be tough for sure, but so can other times. A fellow that was with me said he talked to someone that had never been skunked on the J, but that day might be it. I talked to a fellow that did ok at first light, then it turned off around 8:30 or 9. Maybe they are feeding more at night that time of year. I landed some trout, but it was tough to say the least. Thanks for watching ! Tightlines!
@@WildBlueDiscovery I was the 2nd person there the guy before me drove 1 and a half hours to get there felt bad for him. I changed 16 different flys nymphs and setups etc. Owell

Hit the J last week 7 out of that same section. Went up to penns creek today and got humbled not even one bite.
You did well on the J! Penns can be tough. Tightlines!
Skunked by the little j on Friday I'll stay away. Much better fishing closer to home.
