This song and lyrics hit me, hauntingly so good. Numan is and always will be pure Genius. Saw him two years ago at Riot fest and , was blown away how he is still so relevant, was looking forward to this album. And this morning I get to here this!!!
For those who don't get it, this is Gary's coming of age album, not Gary himself, but the evolution of his music. The writing, movement and production is outstanding. Some simply don't get it (mostly because they're stuck in 1981), but this is Gary's most rounded and accomplished album to date.
Numan is at the top of his game in recent years. Fantastic. Seen him live in 2000 and in 2019. Both great shows but the 2019 gig in Glasgow was above and beyond. The man never ages or slows down.
@@slumdogjay nice! Yea I was about 12 years old for the Telekon concert. He played all Telekon LP and pleasure principle material. Was amazing, but would be even more if I could time travel and see it now! Lucky us a new numan release and its a great one.
I'm looking forward to seeing him in Minneapolis later this year. I started listening to Gary a few years ago and it's been absolutely amazing. Helped inspire me to stay clean and sober even after a bad break-up.
If there's a song that can rip your emotions and put them back together again, it's this one. This helped me through some hard things from October 12th 2021 through the next 90 days. It helped inspire me to stay sober and move on and I look forward to seeing Gary Numan in Minnesota later this year. I dedicate this to Adam Schelde. May 28th to October 12th 2021. My feelings when my son moved abroad a week ago. Lisabon, Portugal is far from Gothenburg, Sweden. But same time another place to visit.
