  • We all know the Japanese saws have been known as the tools for precise works, like Dozuki, and many Kataba saws for cutting Dovetails and tenons etc. However, there are several exceptions in ZETSAW range, and one of them is Heavy Duty H-333.

    This saw has been well received by many Log house makers, and professional construction woodworkrs for her aggress teeth and ever studier thick blade.

    Hi, I will rip a lot of 5cm x 10cm hard wood. Which saw you would recommend between H-333 and Rip H-250?
    Does the H-333 faster than saws specialized for rip like Rip H250?

    • @Z2010p8

      Hello Diori Cergy. Thank you for your inquiry. For ripping hardwood, H-333 will be faster but rougher cutting surface will be left than using Rip H-250. Personally, I recommend you Rip H-250 for better finish, and leave the H-333 for bigger size hardwood cutting.

    This thing good for rip cuts along logs?

    • @HdtvTh
      @HdtvTh 6 месяцев назад

      Obviously not, it's a crosscut saw. You will not find a Japanese saw dedicated for ripcutting anything serious under 300-500$. And for regular boards, workholding is a nightmare because 50% of your effort is wasted in vibrations as there's no easy way to hold it against something as you do with a push rip saw. If you insist on getting a log ripping Japanese saw search for Maebiki-Nokogiri, you will not be pleased with the prices tho.
