Ancestral Hall (Lam Tak Choon) and Choy Li Fut Martial Arts

Martial arts and lion dancing are foundations of Lingnan or Cantonese culture. Leaders in Choy Li Fut, a primary martial arts style, will offer both in the ancestral hall built by Lam Tee Chew known as the Lam Center for Cultural Exchange and Roots Discovery. Restoration of the magnificent hall has been performed by master builder Chen Weiyang of Jingmei Village, a descendant of Chen Heung who in 1836 founded Choy Li Fut in Jingmei, now famed as the "Kung-Fu Town".
