It indicates that he has not asked or shown any interest in him, which isn’t really all that surprising considering how little he sees or interacts with his children.

So after this episode, where Rykard manages to do something most of his siblings are unable to: Forgive his Father I have wondered if Rykard is A) actually really smart and fully functional but can't express himself properly/nobody understands him (evidence for this theory is that Mohg can undestand some pretty complex thoughts of Rykard) or B) Actually is pretty challenged but still able to somewhat understand the conversation (evidence for understanding the conversation are the various emotion conveying snake sounds and evidence for the mental challenges are him sometimes screaming 'TOHETHAAA' a million times and asking his siblings to join his family despite them already being FAMILEEE) or C) He was actually pretty challenged in the beginning (spamming Togetha and making obvious mistakes) but with Therapy and some care (and Gtavel Stones? Maybe they function kinda like Medicine?) he has actually regained a lot of his mental capacity. Being able to form complex thoughts that Mohg can somehow read, being able to fully understand conversations (like he did today), but still having trouble communicating in full sentences (Although he has also considerably improved in that regard). I am looking forward to learning more about the mysteries and wonders of my favourite snakey boi.

Man this kind of videos are just a godsend they are insanely fun, and it makes sense with the original story to some extent, and also the lines are just hilarious on this one like "No one cares Radahn, gravity magic ISN’T cool. Incantations are cool!" or "Ow no he pressed the Malenia Button". Great video from start to end.

So after this episode, where Rykard manages to do something most of his siblings are unable to: Forgive his Father
I have wondered if Rykard is
A) actually really smart and fully functional but can't express himself properly/nobody understands him (evidence for this theory is that Mohg can undestand some pretty complex thoughts of Rykard)
or
B) Actually is pretty challenged but still able to somewhat understand the conversation (evidence for understanding the conversation are the various emotion conveying snake sounds and evidence for the mental challenges are him sometimes screaming 'TOHETHAAA' a million times and asking his siblings to join his family despite them already being FAMILEEE)
or
C) He was actually pretty challenged in the beginning (spamming Togetha and making obvious mistakes) but with Therapy and some care (and Gtavel Stones? Maybe they function kinda like Medicine?) he has actually regained a lot of his mental capacity. Being able to form complex thoughts that Mohg can somehow read, being able to fully understand conversations (like he did today), but still having trouble communicating in full sentences (Although he has also considerably improved in that regard).
I am looking forward to learning more about the mysteries and wonders of my favourite snakey boi.

There was so much to unpack with this one I love it. There's potential for Godfrey to get to know Ranni and Rennala more. Radagon is gonna try and bond with Melania. Patches is hosting an undisclosed tournament. Turtle pope might quit being the Carrian family therapist and Radahn finally speaks his mind to Radagon.
