Liked your thoughts on this video. I recently got mine in black vegan leather variant. 4 days on, it does get a little warm at times, but nothing to worry about, given the slimness it's understandable. Display is really good, but yes I'm worried about the hardware (curved screen and no Gorilla glass) getting scratches easily. Given the price it's an excellent buy and I'm very happy!

@@snehilkumar6893 the main camera is great, outdoor shots look amazing in natural/ ambient conditions. Same goes for low light, details and processing makes up for a good shot - (night mode turns on by default). Haven't shot videos on it yet, so can't comment. Front camera is nothing great, it just brightens up anything that comes in front of it and overexposes. If selfies are your priority I'd say skip this phone. But in other purposes the camera is good 👍
Its poled, so will not break easily, but you should worry for scratches. So to fix this you can use screen gaurd instead of tempered which does not fit on curved screen.
I am using leather vegan with no heating issues .. it definitely scores above plastic and no issues on daily use. Please don't mislead others

But the Audio output from your videos is significantly low when compared to other videos on RUclips. Even at max volumes(Mobile and Laptop), I've always felt like the output would've been a bit louder....

Does this plastic variants catch scratches because of curved screen the cover will only cover back and sides will be left uncovered so dust will enter does it give scratches and also tell does this plastic feel cheap ? Or is it good quality because on looking this blue colour looks better than other ?

The camera is good enough but it could have been better with software updates because sensors are capable so let's see Motorola optimise camera in future or not because it's too early to judge the software department because we already see that when phone launched software is not polished well but after few updates ui experience and optimisation in camera is also better with updates

Tip... use nano liquid wipes to toughen up that easily scratched screen .. example crystalusion or defence shield. 😊

Hi brother, need some help regarding iPhone. Does ur iPhone 13 mini and 14 pro has green tint issue on apps like RUclips , teams which have dark grey background. Already replaced display 2months back due to this issue but again the same issue developed.

Hy Rohit thanks for your thoughts but just wanted to point out you missed out on Motorola's biggest USP which make Motorola devices stand apart from others is there software experience, you also missed out on the storage and Ram option. The combination of 8 + 256 is not a usual thing in this price point. And just to add on. I got mine in vegan leather and haven't faced any heating issues yet.
I mentioned Pixel 6a, nothing phone 1 and S21 fe but not realme and poco because of that same reason.
You can get 256 gb in nothing phone 1. But you are right, I should have mentioned it.

I've seen a video shows camera amelioration after the last update. Someone can confirm ? I loved to purchase a motorola, I have a Samsung S9+ and I was really disappointed with Samsung. I want a Motorola but I don't know which ones, the edge 40 seems great to me but it seems that there are also problems with fogging in the camera when it is put in water. If you have any advice for a good motorola, thank you.
I've ordered this phone on 14 June but the expected delivery is showing 29 June .

I had previously ordered moto edge 30 pantone red, only to realize that even though the phone had HDR capability, it didn't had any certifications to play on any streaminng websites which was a major let down.
I hope this device does support HDR content on netflix, prime, disney etc.

If so called professionals are concerned too much about the camera then better go for the camera not with any phone. No device is perfect in itself it just tries to be. Whoever uses iphones are judging cameras like professionals in midrange.... ridiculous!! If moto improves the camera with updates then no one can beat it in this segment in every aspect.
No man I m using Moto phones since 8 years and I can definitely say there is no improvement in cameras I have used moto edge 20,edge 30 and others also...so they need to improve it otherwise the phones are good

Iqoo Neo 7 has funtouch which is not polished enough. Some people said it is worst than miui. I am on miui currently. I needed clean experience.

@@ajitkumar-of8uo let me be very clear, i don't own edge 40 but I own edge 20 fusion... And regarding heating all the reviews I've seen yes the phone becomes warmer during heavy tasks but this is summer and since the phone has a metal frame so it feels heat even though it's warm and i don't consider gaining temperature during fast charging as heat because that's normal in case of fast charging... Performance is adequate for day to day tasks and casual gaming plus the battery can last you a whole day, by chance it dies early you can charge it up quickly with 68w charger

Updates and cameras have been the major cons of Moto
it's surprising to see moto perform so bad since 2 years of their comeback, I feel they made a comeback w the edge 20 series that launched in 2021 and it too had ridiculous cameras, the low light photos were pathetic! but i bought edge 20 bc there were no better options available back then, i installed a gcam mod and it solved the pathetic shots and loss in detail so even today the photos with gcam are pretty good. but i wonder when will moto finally improve in the camera department, bc honestly, these edge 40 daylight and indoor shots have similar quality to my edge 20's and the video recording is similar too. the edge 20 too records jerky, soft videos.
Could you please tell which version of GCAM you have installed and it's xml file?
I am also using Moto edge 20 with gcam installed and camera works awesome...I also had edge 30 but I exchanged it for pixel 7a...

They're always using omnivision camera sensor. Quality of pictures in moto is too bad. And they don't listen feedback from consumer.

I compared them with pixel 6a, nothing phone 1 and s21 fe. He chose different phones to compare them with. And honestly none of them are camera centric phones.
normal photography badhiya rahegi not next level but multimidea superb looks superb other features ip68 wireless charging super and OnePlus 8 glass perfect fit in motorola edge 40 perfect all good 😊

Go with Edge 40 as nothing doesn't even provide a charger in the box plus its display is below average as compared to moto... Also moto has ip68 rating
They should have atleast given a proper primary camera.

@@mayukhbagchi I don't think they will. I have moto edge 30 and it's just getting it's android 13 update whereas my another phone Samsung a52 got it's android update in January. Look how slow moto are with updates. Also moto don't release frequent updates to improve camera. It's either they come equipped with a good camera at the release time or no good camera.

This phone regularly gets hot when you are using it and also drains the battery very fast.
