She was a brilliant mind, a living legend. During her long life, she's been through some hard stuff, but she never played anything down, she never wavered, she told the truth. She stood for human rights. The rights of all the American people. Regardless of who they are. In one word: She stood for justice. I guess that's what our president had in mind when he said truthfully:«She was an amazing woman, whether you agree or not.»ruclips.net/video/24QKYig1prU/видео.html
Sometimes government is boring. The twists and turns of the laws are hard to fallow. But this is our legal system. The Supreme Court is justice looking over our laws to make sure our rights are protected. We have been passing laws that don't always protect everyone. So that is why when we get someone like the RBG who understands the problems of our legal system; it is a miracle. She found a way to help women get the money, protection, and status they deserve. We will rephrase. Thank you JRBG, for leaving those that can read, the notes to guide those lost, back if not for our future but those of all others. 9 6-3. 1933-2020 Harvard 1957 SCOTUSOFAJRBG 06242022 From the beginning to the first reverse of justice in law.
I'm a conservative and a Trump supporter and thought I that the logic of her arguments in the scenarios she spoke of and her dismantling of the opposition's defense is solid. There was a little personal irony in that I often try to use rock-solid logic in dismantling liberal viewpoints.
When interviewed not long after helping pass roe v wade she said, and i quote, "roe v wade is likely unconstitutional and will eventually be overturned", which means the people who passed roe v wade knew it was unconstitutional and did it anyway, what do you think of her now, this is YOUR god, who you think gave you special rights to murder, she knew it was illegal, and they did it anyway, they all knew it, and they all admitted to it
Wouldn't lowering the age of consent to 12 years keep women barefoot and pregnant? It may benefit NAMBLA ... but how would that empower women ... I don't get it.
(John @ KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John @ KJV) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (Acts @ KJV) ...Sirs, what must I do to be saved? (Acts @ KJV) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...
The Media loved her, and that's the 1st clue that something wrong, people don't even read the news let alone Judicial Decisions, and how many understand the ramifications?
horrible speaker. annoying voice. comes off kind'a dopey but oh well. i'll admit i find myself reading brilliance and sophistication due to her rep and mystique and station in life, not her content, alas. and her point that every check Lilly got reset the 180 day discrimination time period to sue was not her idea, but she takes credit for it anyway. i've read the few things she's written (most of her authorship is confined to text books/judicial opinions) and she's just not that interesting. rarely listening to her or reading i get that feeling "wow, i never thought of it like that, or that's a very interesting take on an idea i thought i considered before." she's just very average. I do think she's smart, but she's VERY VERY VERY hard working to the point of being a machine, why she did so well in school. she's a robotic academic with a few good ideas but novel is not a word i'd use to describe her approach or thinking. for example, the writing and conversations of sam harris, jordan peterson, noam chomsky are 10x more interesting and thought provoking. most judges in my experience are lawyers who opted out (due to lack of prospects?) for a gov't job/paycheck to sit on the bench, accept the respect and dignity of the role and eventually collect a pension check like everyone other civil servant. granted she made it to the top of the civil servant judge pyramid and deserves respect.
She was a remarkable woman.

it took 42 days to get her on the court, let's honor her by doing the same with her replacement
Let's honor her wish about when that happens.

It would be nice if Trump doesn't have to replace her.
